Those statues that appear are other players that got themselves pretrified. Also the cursed frogs don't ruin your gear, they pretrify you. just FYI. Thanks for the Guide!

To the blood owl: Even though you didn't kill her, it is far more likely that the cursed frogs killed her with their smoke- It goes through walls.

for some reason i don't see Ornifex in her house and when i go to the first place you find her i see a grave, when i pray to the grave with the 11k souls she says to meet her at her house again and she's not there and its just a loop to waste money is this a bug or something? (i didn't kill her in the first time)
