Basic Controls in G-Mod or Garry's Mod!

This guide will talk about the Basic Controls in the Game G-Mod or Garry's Mod.

Movement

Forward- Press W to go forward

Backwards- Press S to go Backwards

Left- Press A to walk left

Right- Press D to walk right

Sprint- Hold Shift to Sprint

Slower Walk- Hold Alt and press W, A, S, or D to walk slowly

Jump- Press the Spacebar to jump

Crouching- Press Ctrl to crouch

Noclipping/Flying- Press V then press one of the WASD keys to fly

Slow Noclipping/Flying- Press Ctrl to do a slower noclip

Spawn Menu

To open the Spawn Menu Press Q and hold it until you are done using the spawn menu. Or you can press F1 once and it will stay open untill you press Esc.

Spawning Things- To spawn something press on one of the items on your Spawn Menu and at the top of the Spawn Menu it will have categories, to go to the Category all you need to do is left click your mouse button on it.

Mouse Controls

To shoot or interact with a Weapon you press the Left Mouse Button

Physgun- To grab an object with the physgun all you need to do is press and hold the Left Mouse Button To freeze object where you have it just press the Right Mouse Button
And you can rotate stuff when holding them with the physgun by pressing and holding the E key and moving your mouse around. Lastly if you scroll with the Scroll Wheel it will move an object closer or further from you.


And Lastly to look around just move your mouse around!

Keybinds

Deleting- To delete something after you spawned it just press Z.

Flashlight- Just press F to turn on/off the flashlight

Interact- The interact button to open doors and such just press E

Reloading- To reload a weapon just press R

Chat- To type in chat press Y for ALL chat and press U for Team Chat

Voicechat- Just Hold down X to talk in Gmod's Voice Chat
