It minimizes fuel depletion than just pressing Flying Speed Boost (Q). Furthermore, you can dodge a lot more than just swaying left to right during battle.

What are Hurri's Playstyles?

Assassin/Finsher Hurricane

This playstyle is for people who wants to sneak on peeps. Your teammate hates you for leaving the team for a few seconds and a few yards away from them. But, you are playing 5D chess while everyone around you are playing 3D chess.

Pretty much just leave your team a few distance away. You are going in for flanks as the enemy is focusing against your teammates. This is good against sniper mechs or ion cannon vita mini mechs. Those sniper mechs are hard focusing against your teammates while you are right beside them looking at them asking why are they missing their shots from far away. Then, you do damage on them while they panic from where the damage is coming from. Once you demech them, you go for the finish. #203

Favorite Places for Assassin/Finisher Hurricane

The red circle is the best circle close to ace time that this playstyle is most beneficial. A lot of building to cover you while you are going for the flanks as well as hiding away right after the kill.

Bonus from this is that the panicking sniper mechs will jump and accidentally drop down from their sniping position. If that happens, your grounded teammates can easily demech the sniper mechs from that while you on top, smirking.

High Damage Output Hurricane

This playstyle is just a basic one with Heat-Tracking as your Propulsion module. You are a Hurricane just flying and hovering, trying to demech and go for kills with your teammates.

Stick with your team. If you get demech, go for cover or hide behind your teammates. Make sure you have a lot of rechargers as you will be popping those a lot to get back into the fight.

Favorite Places for High Damage Output Hurricane

The red circle is the best circle close to ace time that this playstyle is most beneficial. You are a flying/hovering Firefox with homing rockets.

Bonus from this is that you have way better skills than the #1 Hurricane in the mech leaderboards (probably... most likely...).

Distracting Hurricane

This playstyle is for people who can't aim nor do good damage against mechs. Your teammate hates you for pretty much being useless. However, do not be sad as you proudly play Hurricane, the best mech in SMC. #203

Since you play Hurricane, people will assume you have an Assassin Playstyle or a High Damage Output Playstyle. Because of this, people will instantly respect you in battle or hate you for playing Hurricane and be easily tilted and unfocused. Just play as an UAV and have the enemy focus on you. Once their attention on you, you lead them away from your teammates or have the enemies' backs toward your teammates. This way, your teammates can easily do a lot of damage against the enemies and will respect you for your bait play. Then later still hate you for being useless.

Favorite Places for Distracting Hurricane

The red circle is the best circle that this playstyle is most beneficial. You are an UAV. Know your enemies position at all times. Look at the map and highlight the dropline in your mind. When you see where the supply drops are, keep an eye on them on the map.

Bonus from this is that you are an underrated teamplayer. Nobody respects you for being the better player. The only people that respect you as a player and a Hurricane player are yourself and other Hurricane players.
