Pendulums Achievement

This guide will explain how to get the Pendulums achievement, which requires activating all 17 drinking bird pendulums found throught the game in a single playthrough. It also assumes you've already played the game before, know how to get items required for getting around the world (magnetic card, hammer, screwdriver) and need a helpful nudge rather than a walkthrough. With all that out of the way, let's get started.

Crowbar - the setup

At the start of the game, go to the sewers and talk to the eccentric until you get a note. This is required to have a pendulum appear later in the game.

Downtown (afternoon) - 7 pendulums

In the room with the hammer.

Can be found on a shelf in the Storage Room.

On the table in the waiting room on the ground floor.

On top of the wardrobe in Room 21.

On a box by the Hermit.

On the balcony across from the Hermit’s abode, right above the place you start at in Downtown.

On the table in the trashed room after you present the disc to the Client.

Crowbar (evening) - 5 pendulums

Enter the vents in the toilet and go left, the pendulum will be on the table in the room.

Enter the vents in the toilet and go right, the pendulum can be found on the table.

In City Sewers Underground Exit, use the ladder to climb to the second level. Pendulum can be found on the stand between the couch and radio.

Assuming you’ve talked to the eccentric in the sewers before going Downtown, go and speak with him again. The pendulum can be found right next to his bucket.

After entering the hidden place in the sewers and going past the broken elevator, go up the stairs. The pendulum can be found right behind bars.

Fragmentation - 5 pendulums

On the wardrobe next to the hanged bird.

In the boarded-up room, across from the muttering bird.

On a shelf in the room with the diary and marked up walls.

In the void room, on a stool behind the bird sitting on a bench.

In the room behind the bird in an eyepatch, turn left and find the pendulum standing on the crates.

(the door stays locked during the game, the only way to enter and leave that room is using the vents)

I'm having trouble getting pendulum number nine because when you go into room you cant get out. Does it still count if you just click it and move on?
