that's why you find items that reveals surrounding cards so you can plan ahead. I still think polearm is godtier. When they updated the game for more achievements I still pick my Items of choice and instantly went to 100% again.
I Haven't touched the game for forever now so I'll try remembering. You will want to have as much freedom as you can for your movement in this game, especially in late game, 1 wrong move can be fatal so I avoid anything that can manipulate my movement against my will. Most enemies are constantly moving and traps everywhere. *Most likely* I put it there because I always get blown to death when there's a foe 1 card away and a bomb to explode in 1 turn on the opposite side, so yeah, bounce back to the spot try to avoid and boom.
