How to Add/Remove Backgrounds In GMod

How to Add Backgrounds

Before we start adding backgrounds, we need to get our image file. Find the image you want and copy it. Next, we go to where our Steam files are stored (you can skip this step and the next few steps by going to your Steam library, right-clicking on GMod, clicking "Properties", clicking on "Local Files", then click "Browse", and you will be in the GMod files). After you go to your Steam files, click "steamapps", then "common", then finally "GarrysMod". After you reach the GMod files, click the file, "garrysmod". There should be a folder named "backgrounds". There, you will find all the existing GMod backgrounds. Paste the image file from the beginning into the "backgrounds" folder. Then, that image will be in the GMod background rotation.

How to Remove Backgrounds

(Please read the first section on how to add backgrounds). Once you have learned how to add backgrounds, removing backgrounds is simpler. Go back to the "backgrounds" folder and right-click on the image you want to remove. Then click on the "Delete" button. You probably don't need to read this section because of how self-explanatory this is.
