[NEW MAP!] How to access the hidden map and add custom maps

dm-island is not playable in the game through normal means. Here is how to make it playable, as well as how to install new custom maps :)

This guide will tell you how to access the secret map hidden in the base game, as well as 3 new custom levels to play online with whoever else is playing these days;

Island: The title says it, it's an island. Featuring underwater combat and a cool boat. This level is in the base game, and can be played without modding. However, without changing some files (like you will in this guide) it doesn't have a minimap and is a mess to set up for online play.

Towers: I spent too long on this. Its sort of a smaller map for duelling. I really like it, the movement is good and I think it's fun to play. Enjoy!

Colossus: Featuring two very huge statues. Not really sure what I was thinking but it looks cool. The second custom map I've made and I think it's much better.

Warehouse: This is a custom map based on dm-caves. It features an expanded play area, new buildings and a revamped cave layout. I think it's first custom map ever made for this game (at least that I'm aware of) so go easy on me if there's anything wrong with it :^]

Accessing the hidden map, Island

Installation Instructions

1. Download the map files from this google doc:

This contains all the minimaps and the custom maps, as well as an altered multiplayer settings file that allows you to select the maps from the host game screen.

2. Go to Apotheon Arena's installation folder. This can be found by going to your steam library, right-clicking on Apotheon Arena>Manage>Browse local files.

3. From the file you've downloaded, move the "Content" folder into the Apotheon Arena folder. If you get a prompt, replace the files in the destination folder.

4. That's it! Load up the game and you should be able to select and play all of my custom maps.

additionally you can download the map pack from the link in the guide and that will allow you to select island as well as the other custom maps I've made from the normal map selection screen

Hey! I can tell you sorry, you want to open the console with ~ and type "play dm-island" if you want to play it multiplayer type "mplevel dm-island" This should work. feel free to message me if you need more help

can someone please tell how to get island, for me the section is just a photo with no instructions, when i went to the files i couldn't find anything about activating it and i could even edit the files at all
