Follow the steps in the guide to fix the issue.

1) First download the latest version of DXWnd from below link:

2)Go to game folder and delete existing (DXWind-v2_03_36_build) folder

3)Copy the current downloaded DXWnd folder in the game folder

4)Rename d3d9.dll to d3d9.dll2 and ddraw.dll to ddraw.dll2 in the game folder

5)Go to the game folder and open DXWind folder and launch dxwnd.exe(admin mode)

6)Click on option and select Expert mode

7)Click on Edit,Add and in Main tab
Name: Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sherlock Holmes The Mystery of The Mummy\game.exe
Launch:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sherlock Holmes The Mystery of The Mummy\game.exe
(game.exe is located in the installination folder.Example-Steam\steamapps\common\Sherlock Holmes The Mystery of the Mummy folder and click on the "game.exe" file)

8)At the bottom of Main Tab Change W and H values to native resolution.

9)At the bottom right of main tab change it to checkbox (desktop from X,Y coordinates)

10)Click on the "Tweaks" tab. On the left hand side, scroll down to "input:MouseMoveByEvent" and highlight this field.
Then click on the green + button below to place this tweak on the right-hand side Active tweaks box

11) Click okay. The Edit menu will disappear and you'll be back at the little DXWnd window, but with a Sherlock Holmes icon in the main window.
Go to the "File" menu on top and click on "Save"

Note:Before launching game from steam first go to DXWind folder and launch dxwnd.exe as admin and launch game from steam
Repeat this step everytime before launching game from steam

thanks the mouse is still a tiny bit glichy but it is playaboul now

You need to change W and H values in the main tab of DXWnd to change the resolution and restart the game.If it is not on full screen then press Alt+tab to fix the issue.

It works now, but running in fullscreen doesn't work. Well, then I have to stick with a window.
