Quasar: How to Play

The rules for Quasar are straight forward, get closest to 20 without busting.

One thing I learned is : Make sure after you win 2-4 hands is to pause, get out of the Quasar game and Save . I usually just hit F5 and Quick Save, but this way you can prevent the game from cheating you since I find that even when I have a statistically high chance to win - like having 14 and hitting a 4-7 , 9 times out of 10 the damn game will cheat and give me a 7 , the only card I can lose on.

Doran will not kick you out no matter how much you win. He only kicks you out if you have Schells' device and keep using it after you got the data for him.

Why aren't you picking 1-8 for position 15? If you pick 4-7, you only have a 50% chance of a desirable outcome; However, if you pick 1-8, you increase your chance to win from 50% to 62.5%.

@ethanjculp He kicks you out if you win 7 or 8 times in a row I believe. The amount might be wrong, but he definitely does kick you out and you fail the quest.

I always 1-8 on 17,18,19... 9 out of 10 times I score 20.
