Building a Molotov

Build a Molotov
1. Before building a Molotov, you will need to obtain Parts and Gas. Several locations on the map offer an abundance of both.
2. When items have been located, seek Shelter in a timely manner.
3. Place both items into the Storage Shelf located in the room near the Basement Stairwell.
4. Left click the Shelf when the hand icon appears  then make sure that the inventory shows (one) Part and (one-half) Gallon of gas. This is the amount required to fabricate the Molotov.
5. Exit this screen and proceed to the high school Cafeteria.
6. Access the Job Board located (one) or (two) paces behind Anita’s left shoulder.
7. At the Job Board screen below Assignments, select the character with highest Science skill. Keep in mind Molotov requires the chosen character to have a minimum Science skill of (one), and additional Science skill points can provide a bonus. i.e. shortening the completion time.
8. Click on Job. This opens the menu of available jobs. Click Chemist and another menu of available actions appears below Jobs.
9. Click Molotov. Science [1/1], Parts [1/1], and [.5/.5] Gallons.
10. It takes time to create a Molotov so you’ll have to return at a later time or press Pass Time.
11. Check the Storage Shelf. If the Molotov isn’t there check to make sure you’ve followed steps (one) through (nine) correctly and ensure that no further time remains for completion. Also, avoid any misfortunes by staying away from map locations in the evening.
12. Makes (two) Molotov incendiaries.
13. It inflicts minimal damage; it does have a wide blast radius; and watch out for the auto-ignition temperature. A word of caution: allies interfere with how far a character is lobbing the Molotov. What I mean is; the blast area terminates at the position of allies standing in your line of sight!

Please release more guides it's been 8 years and I have only been able to use the molotov

i dont mean to be a jerk or anything,, but making a molotov isn't really that hard,,, so there wasn't much point in making a guide... if anyone can build a fence im sure they can find the tab for molotovs,,,

but anyways
altho they dont do much damage they are perfect for path blockage and NPC movement blocks

long as you get the e (enemy) in the middle of the x (flames)
they can't and won't move or attack unless they have a ranged weapon
