[TTT2] Ghost Attack [WEAPON]

This is a weapon that summons ghosts which will disturb the sights of your enemies if you do primary attack.
Secondary attack plays a random ghost sound from three looped sounds which will be audible for everyone near the owner in case you want to surprise someone. (You can switch to another weapon to stop the sound.)
The summoning sound is also for everyone near the owner audible.

The ghosts will disturb the sight for everyone for 15 seconds except for the owner and his team.
Two popups are also included which will inform the victims that the witching hour started and that the witching hour is over.
Both popups come with an individual sound, which will be heard for the victims and everyone near them.
The shoot animation and the bullet holes are only visible for the owner.

Primary attack sound is "Geist ich rufe dich." (English translation: "Ghost I call you.") and the arrival sound is "Geisterstunde!" (English translation: "Witching hour!").

Everything is configurable with ConVars. So you can for example deactivate the sounds if they are disturbing or change other settings.
A round restart or map reload/change is required to apply ConVar changes.


This works ONLY in TTT2.
TTT2 should appear on the right or if you try to download this addon it should appear for you too.


It's a weapon that is available for one credit for the traitor. (You can change that in the F1 menu.)




Yes you can. Extract the addon and delete the sound files which you don't like and add your sound files.
Don't forget to modify the code for the new sound files.
The primary attack sound file is located at: "ttt2_ghost_attack\sound" under the name "ghost_attack1.wav".
The secondary attack sound files are located at: "ttt2_ghost_attack\sound\secondary" under the names "ghost_attack2.1.wav", "ghost_attack2.2.wav" and "ghost_attack2.3.wav".
The arrival sound file is located at: "ttt2_ghost_attack\sound" under the name "ghost_attack3.wav".
The departure sound file is located at: "ttt2_ghost_attack\sound" under the name "ghost_attack4.wav".
Important: You need .wav sound files and these sound files must be loopable. Only the primary attack, arrival and departure sound files are an exception.

You can change anything you want after you extracted the addon. After you finished just save and put the whole folder on your server (into the addons folder).
