Improve FPS
If your game is laggy, you can change some settings trough the game files

Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\GoatSimulator\Engine\Config

Then open "BaseSystemSettings.ini"

In this text file, there are many things you can change (writing False instead of True, almost everywhere in the first part of the text).
Only DirectionalLightmaps must stay the same, if you change it, everything in the game is about to be black (and that's ugly)

When you are in the game, dont forget to put the lowest resolution and to put low graphics. The game will be ugly, but you're about to have high FPS, and it's still fun to play.

If you're lazy you can delete the text before RES X and RES Y and paste the text below :

[SystemSettings]

Have fun ;D

If your game crashes after you copied the text i gave you
If your game crashes, revert False to True or reinstall the game (it will revert everything)

... and start changing the file again but by doing it yourself , change only a few things and start the game after each line you changed, and see what happens... This way, you'll see the line that makes you crash if you change it...
(but do NEVER change DirectionalLightmaps, it must stay TRUE)

A good thing to do is to try to change only lines BEFORE DirectionalLightmaps. it should improve FPS a lot and i don't think the game will be about to crash.

Can't believe even I get lag when my gaming laptop exceeds the recommended requirements listed in the store page. As long as I have a 4 core CPU with 2GHZ+, 4GB of RAM, 512MB VRAM, DX9c, and 2GB free storage I should be able to run this well? Wrong! I get fps drops here and there and I had to lower anti-aliasing and physics to remove most stuttering and fps drop from 60 to 45 smh.

Even now, I still get fps drops to almost 50 depending on what's happening in-game and maybe the devs locked this to go up to 62fps since disabling v-sync didn't help. I have an Acer Nitro 5 notebook, specifically the 2019 revision with i5 9300H @ 2.4GHZ, GTX 1050M 3GB, 8GB DDR4, DX12 API, and hundreds of GB left in my hard drive. What more do the devs want - i9 9750H OC, GTX 1660Ti 6GB, and 16GB Dual Channel?
