Hello everyone and let's start our guide!

Your friend should download Friend's Pass on Steam and you both need to add each other in Origin.

If you want to play It Takes Two with your friend, you'll need:

1) Host starts the game and another person starts Friend's Pass.

2) In the main menu Host pushes the button "Play Online".

3) Now you're in lobby and there is a button "Invite Friend". Choose the necessary person, invite him and start the game.

4) Enjoy the game <3

Если вы хотите поиграть в It Takes Two с другом:

Для этого способа другу потребуется скачать в Стиме Friend's Pass и добавить его в друзья в Origin.

1) Купивший игру запускает её, а друг заходит в версию для друзей;

2) Хост нажимает кнопку "Игра по сети";

3) Вас перекинет в лобби и ниже будет кнопка "Пригласить друга", приглашаете и идёте играть.

4) Приятной игры <3

And another way to play It Takes Two with your friend through Remote Play Together (there must be one gamepad with a friend or both of you), you'll need:

1) One copy of the game. It is not necessary to buy a game for both accounts, one will be enough. You just need to decide who'll buy a copy. It's better for a person, who has better Internet connection and PC.

2) Host downloads and starts the game.

3) In main menu press the button "Play Local".

4) After joining the lobby, open Steam overlay (Shift + TAB) and invite your friend by pressing a button "Remote Play Together".

И другой способ через Steam, если не хотите усложнять себе жизнь. Для этого способа потребуется как минимум один геймпад, а лучше два.

И так, чтобы поиграть в It Takes Two с другом через Remote Play, нужно:

1) Купить игру только одному человеку, предпочтительнее тому, у кого лучше интернет и железо;

2) Хост скачивает и запускает игру;

3) В главном меню нажимаем на кнопку "Локальная игра";

4) После перехода в лобби открываете оверлей Steam (Shift + TAB) и приглашаете в игру своего друга, нажимая на кнопку "Пригласить в Remote Play";


5) Приятной игры <3

Probably you need to have another PC to play together since I can't sure that you can play on the same computer. I would like to help you with this question but I don't have enough information about it :(

I would like to play together with my son locally. We have the game downloaded and a keyboard and a controller but somehow the game does not recognise his controller. How can we play together literally locally, on the same computer, same screen etc but with two different controls? Thanks

Not sure if we can help, because it might be the problem of remote play. Maybe try to join the game in different ways, if it's possible give her to pick a keyboard, try to reload the game. Can't say for sure what's the problem, but still you can try to download friend's pass

Thx for your help, but I still have another problem, I have sent "remote play together" to my friend and she has accepted, then I deliver the authentication of keyboard and mouse to her while I use the joystick, but she just can't join in the game, which means her keyboard and mouse can't work, could you please help me here? thx.

I have a library of origin games where the in-game overlay works just as it should to invite other players but it simply won't work with my copy. As I try to go online to send an invite via in-game overlay, it states that it is not enabled and all configurations are set properly.

Tried running the exe as admin, reinstalling origin, moving the game to my local C:/ drive, repairing the game data and none of them work. I can still play via remote play but the experience is not optimal with my distant friends. Please help.

у друга в remote play разделяется на два экрана и почему-то картинка искажается( на одной стороне горизонтальные полоски определенных частей игры, на другой другие ). Друг отключил один монитор, все равно не помогло. В интернете не могу найти решение проблемы. Помогите
