Adding Ray Tracing (RTGI) and SSR to Far Lone Sails

Using reshade for reflections and SMAA. Pascal Glitcher's shader's provides Ray Traced Global Illumination.
Reshade can be applied to any game while the Ray Tracing only works on games with depth buffer access such as source and unity games such as this one.

How to install
1. Download reshade here [reshade.me]

2. (Optional but recommended, needed for the Ray Tracing) Become Pascal Glitcher's beta access patreon for €4.50 here [www.patreon.com] and download the RTGI files.
Guides can also be found in the Pascal Glitcher discord accessed by linking patreon to discord.

3.Run the reshade exe find Far lone sails in the list or locate your installation folder through steam and select the Far lone sails exe in reshade. Select Direct3D 10/11/12 as the rendering api. Then select quint and Sweet FX to install. Continue with installation leaving all boxes checked.

4. Extract the contents of your RTGI files, copy the shaders and textures folders and paste them into your reshade-shaders folder in your game files.

5.(Optional) Download my Far lone sails config file here [cdn.discordapp.com] and put it into your the same folder as the Far Lone sails exe.

6. Run the game press on the home key and follow the tutorial. Click edit global preprocessor definitions and set both RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN and RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED to 1. Press reload at the bottom of the page. Click on the D3D11 tab and select copy depth buffer before clear operations. In the settings tab set a key to toggle effects on/off

7.Set the desired effects; RTGlobalIllumination, SMAA and SSR. (These should be already applied if you used my preset)
Tweak your qUINT_rtgi values below the list of effects to suit your liking or leave them if you used my preset.

Select DisplayDepth in the fx list to verify everything is working. If the screen is black select the depth buffer with the highest draw count in the D3D11 tab. If it is reversed verify that you have completed step 6. In many cases the ssr can introduce unwanted reflections so i recommend making a profile without it to change to. The global illumination can also make the vehicle shine too brightly in sandy areas i recommend turning it off for these parts of the game.
