Followup. In the meantime I might try dropping Sentris' audio output into a Sonar MIDI track and see if it will convert it to MIDI for me. Either that or Celemony Melodyne. If that works well I'll report back.

Timbre Interactive, dcowan responding to your reply to my post about being able to export what Sentris comes up with to a MIDI file, via an option provided at the end via a dialog or requester. Since I am a musician, with a digital audio workstation (Sonar X3 Producer) and tons of softsynths, I would love to be able to run Sentris tunes to those softsynths after importing the saved MIDI file into Sonar. I am sure any other musicians out there who are reading this would whole-heartedly agree. Heck, I would even credit Sentris if I were to come up with a hit song using it! :) The saved MIDI file could be either MIDI type 0 or 1. And if it were possible to save different Sentris contiguous melodies to separate MIDI channels (1 through 16) within the saved MIDI file...well that would be the icing on the cake!
