To be honest, you can completely ignore heat and just spam all 23 areas with a level 1 network as fast as possible and never do a heat reduction scheme, ever.
You can also completely ignore investigators coming to your base, if they leave with suspicion and it shuts an area down, it only takes 5 minutes to reset with no heat.

Escort auto-tag is only good at the beginning when you don't have super psychopaths to deal with, once they start coming en masse you'll simply lose too many valets for simply trying to talk to them and what makes it works as workers wills try to retrieve corpses only to get gunned down by genocidal psychopaths.
It's nice to place door leading into your main base behind the corner (of "casino corridor") out of sight and another "normal corridor" door, which leads to trap maze, in sight. AI is very likely to try to get baited by that door and then wander around trap maze instead of getting inside the main base.
South African super bomb psychopath the most annoying super to deal with due to her destructive psychopathic nature but her being very weak 1on1 means you can assassinate her as soon as she comes to island (Eli is great for that) and then disengage her escort.
Caine Key is The Best Island, this means every Genius should pick it if he wants smoother gameplay. Central helipad on that island not only speeds things up a lot it also protects against assaults from it meaning you only have one way into the base to deal with while minions can use the shortest route possible to helipad.
Organizing cartels in South America is the way to earn money as it has best long-term schemes and weakest and least annoying super psychopath to deal with.
