How to access Dorfromantik public beta?

Find out how you can participate in the public beta of Dorfromantik to try out upcoming features earlier and help with the development by providing your feedback.

Introduction

In the beta program we take new features that we developed for Dorfromantik and put them in the hands of players that are participating in the beta program. This benefits the players to have the opportunity to test things out earlier and provide valuable feedback, which in turns helps us to build and improve Dorfromantik.

Participation Requirements

☑️ own Dorfromantik on Steam
To participate in the public beta program, you must already own Dorfromantik in your Steam Library. It doesn't matter how you got Dorfromantik as long as it's via Steam (for example, that includes all winners who could get a Steam Key).

Step By Step

1. Navigate to Dorfromantik in your Steam Library
   
2. Right-click on Dorfromantik and select Properties
   
3. A Property window should popup where you can select Betas
   
4. Select public-beta as the beta you would like to opt into from the dropdown list
   
5. Close the property window and "[public-beta]" should be added to the game name of Dorfromantik in the Steam Library list as confirmation

If you want to opt out again of the beta, simply repeat the steps but select "None" from the dropdown list.

Feedback

Feedback is essential for us to successfully add new features and improve Dorfromantik together with you. Of course, it helps us a lot if you are specifically trying to test features that we have listed up in the Beta Patch Notes for the current update.

+1 for ability to skip forward/back on songs. They are all relaxing but some I want to hear multiple times :D

I'd love to be able to enter a seed value to play the same game. Not so much for allowing me to play with the same set of tiles but now we could set up challenges where we can all see how we fare with the same set of tiles.

Can you allow different difficulty settings? meaning easy setting would provide many small easy goals , Hard would require few larger goals.

I just quit the game and it sort of froze. It then gave the option to close when a program isnt responding.

Looking and behaving GREAT for me. One more positive suggestion would be to add an INSERT /HIGHLIGHT. For example in the Customization it would be great to hit the insert key and highlight your puzzle piece you want to replace click REPLACED!!! LOVE IT

After changing the active window (alt-tab) from Dorfromantik and back, the stack of pieces disappears from the right side of the screen. To get it back, I need to open the menu and close it again
