How to build a Leech trap and lead Leeches into it.

Blood bags are important since they are used in things like meads. However Leeches tend to run away after being damaged.

In this guide I explain how a blood bag farm will work. First you will need to build what I call a leech trap.

Step one: Build a small trench so you can lead leeches into it. Make sure it's deep enough for the leeches to swim into it.

Step two: Build a gate in front of the trench

Step three: Build a roof over your gate and build some walls around the trench

Step four: Build a spear, any will do.

That is how you would build a leech trap. Now how it works is that you will need to get a leech’s attention in order for this work. Sometimes the swamp doesn’t have many and sometimes you find four of them chasing after you.

Once you got one. Lead it to your trap by guiding it along the coast of your swamp. Once it's near the trap, stand at the end of the trench and wait for the leech to swim into the trench past the gates. After this, quickly close the gates.

Once this is done keep throwing your spear at the leech or leachs until they are all dead. Collect the blood bags and repeat. Sometimes you may need to step foot into the water to get some leech’s to follow you.

@fenlander That is one interesting way. Likely less risky and possibly more effective then standing in the water as bait and guide the leeches into the trap.Though this still has use as you may not have a harpoon from exploring the sea before you discover a swamp.

You could harpoon them and drag them to the pit.
