Programas Necesarios

Las aplicaciones que se van a utilizar son las siguientes:

- RADTools (Ustedes lo pueden descargar de manera gratuita, aca les dejare un enlace con la
aplicación)

Paso 1 - Elegir el video y convertirlo a .wmv

Elijan y descarguen el video que usaran para reemplazar el menu de su left 4 dead 2.

Luego convierten su video descargado a un archivo .wmv con este conversor de video online

Paso 2 - Convertir al archivo .wmv a un archivo .bik

Para que Left 4 Dead 2 detecte el video del menu personalizado es necesario tener la extención en .bik

Abren la aplicación RAD Video Tools y seleccionan el video que convirtieron en un archivo .wmv



Luego de seleccionar el video le dan click en donde dice Bink Video



Luego les aparecerá este cuadro con diferentes opciones

Dentro de las opciones les opciones habrá una llamada Browse (aquí seleccionan donde se va a guardar el archivo .bik)

Ahora se van a la config llamada Compress Audio y marcan la casilla, luego seleccionan la casilla 16-bit/stereo









Luego de hacer todo esto seleccionan la opción Bink y empezara la conversión del archivo.




Una vez terminado la conversión del archivo .bik les aparecerá 3 opciones, ustedes seleccionaran la que dice DONE

Paso 3 - Sustitución de archivos

Una vez que tengamos nuestro archivo .bik tenemos que quintuplicarlo y cambiar los nombres de los 5 archivos a los siguientes:

l4d2_background01
l4d2_background02
l4d2_background03
l4d2_background04
l4d2_background05

De esta manera


Ahora vamos a la ubicacion de nuestro Left 4 Dead 2 y nos dirigimos a la siguiente ubicación



Ahora copiamos y reemplazamos los archivos .bik que convertimos, de esta manera:

Step 2 - Convert the .wmv file to a .bik file

For Left 4 Dead 2 to detect the video of the custom menu it is necessary to have the extension in .bik

They open the RAD Video Tools application and select the video they converted to a .wmv file

es mejor si descargan el video en formato .mp4 y en el RAD video tools lo selecionan y no dan a "blink" si no a "batch"

Funciona y tood, pero se ve como todo mal el video, tipo esta el auido, pero la imagen pesima, no es que tenga mala calidad, si no que se distorciona
