What are Accessories?

Accessories are items that you equip on the slots at the bottom right of your screen when your in your inventory. These equippables can help buff whatever your doing. Accessories can go from helping you build, fish, fly, and other mobility, to help you protect yourself and attack with higher damage.

How to Organize Accessories

• To organize your accessories neatly, keep them in this order. First two slots are for buffing whatever class you are, 3rd slot is for healing/buff, 4th is wings/double jump, 5th is hermes/lightning boots/frostspark boots/terraspark boots, Expert: 6th is brain of chuthulu, Master: 7th is Worm Scarf/ Soaring Insignia, your choice. (Top to Bottom)
  

What Accessories to Use

• All: In healing slot; Pre-Hardmode Band of Regen, Hardmode Charm of Myths, replace with Celestial Shell later on. In pre-hardmode you're unlikely to have two class buffs so use stinger necklace to replace one.
  
  Two Class Buff Slots
  
• Melee: Frozen Shield/Hero Shield (Frozen shield is almost always 100% better, but if all you do is play multiplayer, use hero shield), Fire Gauntlet Prehardmode = Titan Glove
  Yoyo Subclass: Yoyo Bag (Instead of Fire Gauntlet) Prehardmode = Counterweight (Any Color)
  
  
• Magic: Celestial Cuffs, Mana Cloak. In prehardmode just celestial cuffs/magic cuffs
  
  
• Ranger: Molten Quiver/Stalker's Quiver (Stalker's only in multiplayer), Recon Scope. (Not really anything Pre Hardmode)
  
  
• Summoner: Papyrus Scarab, Fire Gauntlet (For Whips), prehardmode Titan Glove.

Other Accessories

• When you are going to use another accessory, just right click it to switch it with your first accessory which should be a class buffer.
  
  
• Building: Architect Gizmo Pack
  
  
• Afk Farm: Greedy Ring, Treasure Magnet
  
  
• Master Ninja Gear/Frog gear: Good for overall mobility if you don't need two class buffers.
  
  
• Fishing: Lavaproof Tackle Bag (Obtained from lots of angler fishing quests & lava fishing)
  
  
• When buying anything from any npc with coins: Greedy Ring

Accessory Switch

Accessory switch is where you switch between accessories to get the benefit of them when you need them in specific situations. This will work with the accessories in "Other Accessories."

• The best items to use for this are: Master Ninja Gear, Ankh Shield, and Charm of Myths. (Charm of Myths is only used for accessory switch when you have replaced it with celestial shell)
  
  
• You keep your Master Ninja gear on the vanity slot next to your Lightning/Frostspark/Terraspark Boots. Charm of Myths (if you've upgraded to celestial shell) must be kept next to your wing slot. Ankh shield next to one of your class buffers slot.
  
  
• Having the accessories in your vanity slots makes it so you can easily right click on the vanity one most of the time, and it switches with the one equipped for when you need it.
  
  
• You switch out Master Ninja Gear with your boots whenever you're having a boss battle, quickly switch Ankh shield for your class accessory when you have a debuff to instantly remove it, switch out charm of myths for your wings for a quick heal. And also, in a tough situation, switch to Ankh Shield to receive no knockback, and you can escape.
