How play boneworks multiplayer

This is a guide on how to make a multiplayer game in boneworks and play with your friends in a game

Step 1 - downloading the launcher

First things first, you want to download a thing called Melon Launcher

Then, download the launcher and run it. After you run it click on the automated tab and press select on unity game then go to where your boneworks.exe file is (if you don't know where that is right click on boneworks and click on properties the click on the local files tab) then press install.

Step 2 - downloading the mod

Next, download the zip file from this link

After you have the mod files installed extract them into the boneworks main directory(same place where the .exe file is).

Step 2.5 - Before you launch

Before you launch boneworks make sure to go to properties and put --melonloader.consoleMessage in the launch options

Step 3 - Launching the game

Launch the game first on your PC not in VR. When you launch the game a second boneworks tab should open up and it should be the melon launcher console


The console should look like this

After you launch the game you have to press s and it will start the server and to make sure its launching go to the console and it should say starting server.

Next, go into discord and turn on steam overlay for Boneworks.

Then, go to discord and press the plus button and invite everyone on discord.


You have to press that button there ( dont ask about my theme or why i scribbled out some parts)

Your game should be working on multiplayer after that.
