Ori and the Blind Forest: A Guide to Black Root Burrows (unfinished)

A guide on how to complete the Black Root Burrows, get to know Naru`s origin and get the Dash and Light Burst skills.

1. Requirements

To get to the burrows, you need at least the Wall Jump Skill, found in the Spirit Caverns.

You might need other skills as well.

You also might need at least 5 Life Cells. For safety.

2. How to Enter

First, you need to be at the Spirit Well in Sunken Glades.
Climb up the wall using Wall Jump (or Climb, if you`ve done Misty Woods).
When you go to the statue, Sein will start remembering something.
She will tell about when Naru was young.
Then you can enter the Black Root Burrows.

3. Basics of the Burrows

Here we are! It`s very dark, I know, but if you are skilled enough, you will find this piece of light.
With the light, you can go through walls!
You can also light up these small lanterns.

4. Getting the Dash Skill

When you light up the lanterns, a gate will open. Climb up more platforms until you find a lever. When you pull the lever, the statue of Naru`s father will open up, allowing you to put the light inside, lighting up the burrows.

If you go to the right, you will find Eki`s Ancestral Tree, giving you the Dash skill.
Now you can press RB or CTRL to dash very quickly!

Can you show a pic of the map, and a draw a line on direction to travel to get to Black Burrows? I'm there, but I can't follow your super close screens, unless I recognized them cause I was there previously.

The skill tree states "Allows Ori to ALSO use dash in the air".
Am I supposed to also find dash after double jump?
Kind of odd that I can buy air dash before getting dash, but enabled after double jump.

How do I use Air Dash? Mine does not work.
I purchased Air Dash. Had already obtained Double Jump.
I can double jump. I see that Dash is CTRL, but it does nothing.
