Nexon and their love of Events

Nexon loves events. There's a good chance there's one or more going on right now actually. These range from a small quest, gathering something, games, battles, a new spot for a temporary amount of time, just random free stuff, or acculating points by playing or just sitting there. Nexon for some reason has been increasing the EXP given by pretty much everything by a huge amount, and while it annoys vetreans like me who see these new people breezing by with tons of levels and stuff after their first few days, it's still EXP.

Loots:
Most of the time there'll be potions, and these will be the most common reward. Sometimes you'll get a nice item or weapon while doing the event though, and in some cases a rare weapon or outfit. The event page on the game's site will have a full list of loot, but they all usually follow a simular style with the rare stuff changing throughout each event. Though they truly are rare, they are usually quite nice, and quite valuable in the market for some time. Even if you don't want the item, but want cash, selling the item can give you a nice stack of dosh, depending on your server. (I heard some are like post WW1 Germany, and others are cheap).

Also EXP... lots of EXP just by talking to Caravan Joe... it's absurd.

Events:
Some, especally more common now, are the ones where you just sit and wait for a box or more cards or fish forever. I don't see how this counts as an event, but it's good if your busy with something else.

Others involve dungeon diving, which is a lot more fun, but sometimes difficult. Have friends for these... and why don't you get friends anyways. The game is a looot more fun with friends. There is the rare quest where you need to be a nice level to participate though, which I feel is levelsist! So what if I'm weak, maybe I want a chance at cool loot. Thankfully, most of the events with fighting changes the mob levels to a managable amount.
