How to summon and defeat king slime

Here is what you need to summon and defeat king slime.

How to summon

1. Kill slimes. you will need 20 gel.
2. Collect gold or platinum. you will need 5 bars (20 raw gold ore)
3. Find at least one ruby. these are found underground, and they look like stone with red flecks.
4. Craft the platinum or gold crown at your anvil.
5. Find a Crimson altar or a Demon altar depending on your world. it will be found underneath the crimson or corruption. the Crimson altar looks like flesh with eyes on it, and the demon altar is purple with a crown of teeth. these are special crafting stations.
6. Standing at the altar, you can craft the slime crown using the platinum or gold crown, and 20 slime.
7. return to your house or area you will fight in
8. Use the crown and summon king slime.

The Battle

King slime will start to summon slimes and try to jump on you, avoid his attacks using something like a grappling hook, and try to damage him while maintaining control of the small slimes by the use of a piercing weapon, such as a flail or spear.
He will soon start to teleport to you when you are too far away, if he start shrinking start moving, because he will teleport directly to you if you dont keep moving.
What NOT to do:
-Do not enter and enclosed space, such as an npc house, king slime will teleport in and you will be unable to escape.
-Remember to damage the king himself, the smaller slimes are important to get rid of, but not as important as the boss, as he will continue to spawn new ones.

What TO do:
-Wear items that will improve your speed, such as hermes boots, or items with the "quick" modifier
-Bring a summon to help deal with the smaller slimes, such as the finch staff.
-Attack from a range whenever you can, if he starts to shrink to teleport, swap to your melee weapon.
