How to remove Early Bird while having Season Pass
By Hoksu
For some reason, buying the season pass also gives you the "Early Bird Special Pack" whether you want it or not. 35% extra damage, high-end gears at the start when you shouldn't have gears at all, 5 extra infusions, and golden gun skins. This makes the game FAR easier, the first levels especially become a cakewalk even on hard difficulty. Here is how to get rid of the Early Bird completely, while still retaining Season Pass and its contents.

What "Early Bird"?
For some reason, Season pass includes "Early Bird Special Pack" cheat bunch which makes the entire game far easier. And it forces golden gun skins on you, depends on your taste but imo they look awful. The gears and infusions you can avoid picking up, but the extra damage cheat and the golden guns are forced on you whether you want them or not. Which can be good if you want to cheat and make the game far easier (which of course you could do simply by decreasing difficulty) and like golden guns, but bad if not.
How to get rid of it
In Steam library, select Bioshock Infinite -> manage DLC. Uncheck season pass, leave the others checked.

AND you also need to start a new game from the beginning, as the Early Bird cheats are permanently in your savegame if it was installed when starting.
But doesn't this uninstall BaS and CitC?
Nope. Burial at Sea 1 & 2 and Clash in the Clouds will remain installed and working as they are separate in your DLC list.
Why do I even need a guide get rid of Early Bird?
I truly wish I knew. It doesn't make the tiniest bit of sense that developers force cheats on players who don't want them. They really should stop doing that. Paid cheats should not exist in the first place, cheating in a singleplayer game should never in a million years cost real world money.

Alternatively you could buy BaS and CitC separately to avoid Early Bird but that costs more than the Season Pass. Paying real world money to avoid having cheats forced on you is kind of illogical.

I mean, at least they can be removed if you don't want them.

A few extra lockpicks, far as I can tell......Not quite sure if that would count, but that's my opinion. *shrugs*

Doesn't Industrial Revolution also give some cheats?
