Atomic Wedgie Achievement - The Easiest Way [ENG]

Quick step-by-step guide to show the easiest method to unlock the ‘Atomic Wedgie’ achievement for eliminating 100 enemies at once with the Mini-Nuke.

At time of writing this is the rarest achievement in the game with ~4% of players having unlocked, and whilst it isn’t hard per-se, there are very few opportunities to attempt it during ‘normal play’ given the Mini-Nuke is only acquired twice throughout the campaign, and you rarely have 100+ enemies on screen before killing some / dying yourself first.

Intro & Setup

For this run we’ll be starting a new game on the 6th map Morituri Te Salutant on Tourist difficulty, and customising the Enemy Multiplier to x11 to ensure maximum carnage. We can also have Infinite Ammo on to make things a bit smoother.

• Single Player > Serious Sam 4 > Morituri Te Salutant
  
  
• On the Choose Difficulty screen, do not select a difficulty, but instead press F2 to go to the Custom menu
  
  
• From within Customize Game:

1. Base Difficulty: Tourist
   
2. Enemy Multiplier: 11
   
3. Infinite Ammo: On

Reaching the Side Objective

It should take roughly 5 minutes to reach the side objective if you sprint all the way – the biggest threats are getting lost in the mayhem, and also to your frame rate! If you’re struggling for whatever reason, you should be able to safely drop the Enemy Multiplier by a few points and still unlock the achievement.

• Sprint towards each successive yellow main objective marker
  
  
• Don’t worry about killing enemies; you should mainly be running past them, but you can blast anything in front of you with a rapid burst from the Grenade Launcher – remember there’s no self-damage on Tourist difficulty!
  
  
• When you reach the first locked gate, approach it to update the objective marker to the keys location and trigger Sam’s banter. Run to get the keys and then return
  
  
• Once you reach the compound shown below, wrap around to the left and climb the stairs, then peel off to the right and through the arch-way to trigger the Side Objective

The Mini-Nuke

• After accepting the side objective, head through the courtyards towards the blue marker
  
  
• Kill all of the Octanian Commanders (i.e. the blue shield guys) on the way, as I believe this is required to open the gate
  
  
• Once you reach the gate, kill as many more enemies as you need to until the light over the gate turns green, then run in and grab the Mini-Nuke

• Enemies will start to spawn once you re-emerge from the area with the Mini-Nuke. Run to the opposite side of the courtyard and commence a clockwise lap of the entire area, arriving back at the place you accepted the side objective at the half-way point, and then circling back to the Mini-Nuke gate
  
  
• Don’t worry about killing a few enemies in your way (especially Kamikazes) – many will die in the mayhem anyway, but more will spawn to replace them
  
  
• Once you arrive back at the gate, spin around and you should see something akin to the screenshots below – plenty of Drones and Processed, some Bulls and Kleers, maybe a few Beheadeds managed to survive… either way, once the Major Bio-mechanoids spawn in you’ll be good to go!

• Let loose with the Nuke! Don’t worry if there doesn’t visually look to be 100 enemies on screen – there’s probably more than you think, plus the ‘killing’ effect lasts a good 5-10 seconds after impact and will continue to incinerate reinforcements as they spawn in, all counting towards the achievement.

Achievement unlocked! It usually pops shortly after the explosion timer finishes, so don't panic if it doesn't happen right away.

also,one for the road side objective where you go to the destroyed convoy to get the HEART gadget,i used it there and got the achievement :) just a little tip,your method should still be faster and better :D
