Level Up to 1000 FAST

One of the rarest Achievements in the game Progressbar95 is getting a "Grand" label on any of the Progressbar game skin variants; it's the rarest of all because in order to get the label, you have to play on one of the skins up to Level 1000. This guide shows a good way for getting to that level in a matter of days instead of weeks; I should know because I used it in the original Progressbar95 mobile version. 📲

Unlock Progressbar NOT 4.0

To do this, one of the Progressbar program skins must reach Level 100, giving it a "Expert" label.

When I first played the mobile version, I naturally went with the default Progressbar95. But I'd suggest unlocking other skins that feature the "Relax" game mode.

Pick one of those, stick with it and don't be concerned about the Points; just focus on collecting the Blue and Yellow segments. Repeat this until reaching Level 100, which awards the "Expert" label, then install Progressbar NOT 4.0.

Adjust game settings in Progressbar NOT 4.0

As Clippy says, NOT 4.0 customizes the game mode to your liking.
To finish levels faster, adjust game settings to this configuration:

• Game pace: max speed
  
• Segments speed: minimum
  
• Segments wobble: minimum
  
• Segments wobble speed: minimum
  
• Frequency of red segments: minimum
  
• No pop-ups

You can save these configurations in one of 5 save slots too, if desired.
(I know these aren't the same configurations as shown in the previous screenshot; I was still experimenting at the time.)

Play using these game settings in Progressbar NOT 4.0

With so many segments falling all at once, you'll be able to fill the progress bar easily. For my finalized experimentation with the game setting configurations, I (re)started the game back to Level 1 and see how long it took getting from Level 1 to Level 30, which awards the "Professional" label.

Obviously, after Level 1 the segment variety comes in a downpour as well, but still makes for quick effort.

Starting at 2:03 P.M., I made it to Level 30 at 2:21 P.M. Thus, the process took about 18 minutes.

Try to be careful; while the frequency of red segments is at a minimum, they still come in a multitude with the rest of the colors.

And because of the low-difficulty setting, you only have one Heart to work with, meaning touching red segments (or unlucky Random segments) drops you down a Level outright.

Still, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, with or without using CHKPROGRESS to fix the Error caused by red segments; just don't get cocky. Find the best clump of blue/yellow segments on screen and scoop 'em up.

Alternative: Progressbar NOT 3.60

Progressbar NOT 3.60 is naturally meant to look like an older version of NOT 4.0. It has the same game customizations, just without Bin, awards 600 less bonus points for completing each Level, has the Media Player with an midi version of the Progressbar theme and getting up to Level 10 awards the "Professional" label. Also, unlocking/installing this skin requires another "Expert" labeled Progressbar version, so you'll probably want to use NOT 4.0 as the fastest way to unlock NOT 3.60 as well.

In this screenshot, I started my gameplay at 4:43 p.m.

Again, it's pretty much like NOT 4.0, just without Bin; this mode would be ideal for those who truly think taking care of Bin is that much of an imposition (but why WOULD you? Bin's your friend! 🗑️❤️).

As shown here, it only took me about four minutes getting NOT 3.60 to "Professional" status, though regardless of what Progressbar version you're playing it's still Level 100 to get the "Expert" label, 250 for "Master", 500 for "Adept" and 1000 for "Grand".

Further options

An additional method to farming segments is reducing the screen space by selecting the "Use CRT display" option, bringing it back to the program's default screen before the widescreen device upgrade was applied.

Afterword

Again, if truly dedicated to getting all of Progressbar95's Achievements, using the process provided in this guide ought to snag you the Grand badge Achievement in no time.

...By that, I mean playing consistently daily; nearly all day, and you'll finish the game in days or weeks instead of MONTHS.

(Sheez, with so much time it takes getting to Level 1000, it's no wonder that Achievement's the rarest. 🙄)

That's actually what I also do on the P11.22, since it's the latest version and thus gives out more points. With Progress Sweeper, 3D Screensaver and sometimes ProgressTrix, I'm currently past Level 900. Of course, I also sometimes do Hardcore difficulty too, for the sake of Daily Challenges.

I can confirm that Minesweeper is as fast as or even faster than this method. I'm on P81, level 191 and I just did 20 levels in 10 minutes. Avoid only red mines and click on yellow mines, they'll give you progress. To be this fast you'll have to know Minesweeper logic and patterns, though. For me Minesweeper is much more fun to play so it hopefully will carry me through this grind.
