Skins/Tees

Go to the Steamlibrary folder and go to steamapps/common/DDRaceNetwork/ddnet/data/skins
and go to default tee (or other skin) and make a duplicate of the skin and put it a name and edit it like you want. or go to ddrace page and download skins

if you want a assimetric skin will be EVER facing to the side

Game Sprites

Go to the Steamlibrary folder and go to steamapps/common/DDRaceNetwork/ddnet/data/assets/game

or go to options, assets, game and the folder button

make a duplicate of the gamesprites and edit it. or download some gamesprites

only make 1 sprite for each, they animate automatically

to

Tilesets

make a image within 1024x1024 pixels and a 64x64 grid
put it in mapres folder and the image should work!

i dont know how to make maps but that is the way of tilesets

Parallax effect

in the editor the parallax works


use para x and y

i use the example for the background
















make a new group for all of the things that have parallax
if you want doodads put it in the same layer of the ground

you can use darker colors to make it more realistic

Backgrounds

backgrounds are saved as maps.
you need the map file and the png file for the icon

make a map (parallax if you want)
and make a fitting png icon
