STEP 2: download mods by creating a profile or dopwnld a a modpeack!!
STEP 3: die
STEP 4!!!!: have your game crash 7948 times due to lack of RAM
STEP 5: play vanilla or with Optifine (Optifine download guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S44LoTQ7_ng )
STEP 6: cry when you cannot install Optifine correctly
STEP 7: get the mincraft jenny mod for 1.12.2(if you are of age of course)
UPDATE:
steps 4 applies to things like laptops with low amounts of RAM, also step 5 is easy because it takes pressing the download button and then waiting for the skip button in the top right of the website that the download takes you to, and i guess you can imagine how it goes next, press skip and then (i think) another white page shows with the actual download button

im pretty sure with that you can have at least 1 chrome tab open or at least 1 mod for minecraft or run at least 1 small modpack and at least 1 big one
