There are currently 4 Heroes in each of the three Factions; Knights, Viking and Samurai. You begin with one hero from each Faction. To recruit the other three Heroes in a Faction you need to purchase them for 500 Steel each, for a total of 1500 steel. You can earn Steel by completing matches and "Orders" or purchase it from the store with real world money. You will earn this Achievement once you have purchased each of the three remaining Heroes in that Faction.
Long Way Down
Long Way Down
Kill 50 Opponents by throwing them off a ledge

You can throw enemies off a ledge by initiating a guard break then move them in the direction you want to throw them. Playing Duel Matches gives you many opportunities to do this. Use Heroes who have a larger throw power such as War Lord, Conqueror, Lawbringer, Shugoki or Raider.

You can also boost this during Custom Matches or farm it in Story Mode.

After you have thrown 50 opponents off a ledge, the Achievement will be yours.
Anything Can Be A Weapon
Anything Can Be A Weapon
Throw an opponent into fire or spikes 50 times

Just as you can throw opponents off of a ledge you can throw them into other environmental hazards like spikes and fire. The spikes are found attached to walls in certain matches and grant an instant kill when an opponent is thrown into them. Flames cause a good amount of damage initially and your opponent will sustain damage over time for a short period as well being staggered momentarily. After you have thrown opponents into any combination of fire or spikes 50 times, the Achievement will pop.

You can boost this Achievement in a Custom Match with a human opponent, or farmed in Story Mode.
Unfair Fight
Unfair Fight
Kill an enemy in a 1V2 situation in PvP

This Achievement cannot be boosted in a custom match. You will have to select Multiplayer and then Player vs. Player to achieve this.

You will with no doubt fight in many battles in an outnumbered 1 versus 2 situation so you will not have to wait very long for the opportunity to get this Achievement. As long as there is more than one enemy in your general vicinity who has hit you once and is still alive when you kill another player who has attacked you, you will earn this Achievement. You will likely earn this Achievement early on with natural play. Skirmish, Elimination and Dominion provide the best opportunities.

If you are having issues with taking on two or more opponents at one time, play the Advanced Practice Mode to learn how block multiple attackers. By learning to block multiple attacks you will be able fill your Revenge meter faster allowing you to enter Revenge mode by pressing Triangle when notified that the meter is full, making killing one of the opponents a lot easier.
Heads Up!
Heads Up!
Kill 25 Heroes by attacking them from above in PvP

To attack a Hero from above, you need to be at an open edge with the Hero below you. Lock on to them and then use your heavy attack to leap from the ledge and as long as the opposing Hero hasn't moved out of range, you will deliver a killing blow. For this Achievement you need to do this 25 times during Player vs. Player game modes. There are opportunities to do this in most maps but playing in a brawl and voting for the River Fort map provides you with the most opportunities. In the River Fort map you can throw opponents off the inside ledge to the ground allowing you to lock on to them and attack from above.

Complete a Dominion PvP match without a single Dishonorable Kill

A Dishonorable Kill would be considered any kill that involves throwing your opponent off a ledge, into spikes or fire or teamed up against with another player. You will need to complete one entire match of Dominion without registering a kill with one of the previously mentioned Dishonorable killing methods. You should get this Achievement during natural play but if you find yourself struggling, the guaranteed way to earn it is to not kill anyone during an entire match of Dominion.
Do it for the Honor!
Do it for the Honor!
Complete 50 Honorable Kills in 4v4 PvP matches

An Honorable Kill is basically a 1 versus 1 kill without using any of the following methods to get the kill; throwing your opponent off of a ledge, throwing an opponent into spikes or fire, or by killing them in a 2 or more versus 1. If you are the one who is out numbered and you register a kill with your weapon it will count as an honorable kill. Player versus Player Dominion, Skirmish and Elimination modes count as 4v4 PVP Matches. You are required to get 50 Honorable Kills in total during any combination of the previously mentioned modes matches. You cannot boost this Achievement in a Custom Match.
I've Got Your Back!

You have to do this 50 times during any combination of Dominion, Skirmish or Elimination while playing in Plaver vs. Player mode.

A 5 kill streak is accomplished by completing 5 takedowns without dying. Stay together with another player on your team and don't be affraid to run away if your health is low. You may get this Achievement naturally while working towards Skirmish Master and Elimination Master Achievements.
Look At All These Feats

Get the max Renown level 50 times in Dominion PvP matches

Your Renown score unlocks your 4 feats available to you during a match. The Renown level is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the screen above your feats in bar form. The bar fills up from Renown collected in game. You gain Renown by capturing objectives, reviving allies, killing heroes, and killing soldiers. Capturing Objectives gives the most Renown and should be your main priority. Reviving allies also provides a considerable amount of Renown so don't skip any opportunities to do so. Every time you gain enough Renown to unlock a feat you will be notified across the middle of your screen that you have leveled up. You have to level up 4 times to reach max Renown during a match. For this Achievement you need to reach max Renown 50 times during Dominion, Player versus Player Matches, meaning you will have to play a minimum of 50 Matches. Custom Matches and Player v A.I. will not count towards this Achievement.
Revenge Spammer
Revenge Spammer
Activate Revenge mode 50 times

Revenge mode gives you more damage and damage resistance for a short period of time. It can be activated when your Revenge meter is full. You will be notified when it is full by a message on the bottom center of your screen telling you to activate Revenge mode.

You can increase and alter your ability to fill your Revenge meter with your gear and with the feats of some Heroes. For instance the Orochi has a tier three feat that grants Revenge gain by attacking. When you are in 1 versus 2 battles your Revenge meter increases more rapidly.

You can get this Achievement by playing in a Custom Match Duel and having your boosting partner repeatedly attack in the same direction over and over until you fill your Revenge meter by blocking them.

After you have activated Revenge Mode 50 times, you will earn this Achievement.

Parry attacks 50 Times

To parry an attack, aim in the direction the attack is coming from. Once the opponents indicator flashes red the second time, click the assigned button to block it. This will not only block the attack but will return the blow with a heavy attack. This can be done in a Custom Match. If you are having difficulties parrying properly, play the Advanced Practice Mode and stay in the Parrying section until you have it timed properly. Learning to parry attacks will help greatly in the rest of your play.

After parrying 50 attacks, this Achievement will pop.

Kill 5000 soldiers

Soldiers are NPCs who help defend the center objective point in Domination Matches and assist in pestering other players in Skirmish Matches. Killing 5000 soldiers will earn you this Achievement. It is quite a grind. Once you have completed all Dominion and Skirmish related Achievements, you can spend your Dominion matches killing soldiers instead of playing the objectives until you have killed 5000. Kills in both Player v Player and Player v A.I. count towards the total kills needed for this Achievement.

════════⫸DLC⫷════════
There are total of 6 Achievements for a Marching Fire DLC
═════⫸DLC STAGE 1⫷═════
For the first stage you should be aiming to earn the two Achievement related to the new Breach mode. This mode is a 4-vs-4 multiplayer affair where the attacker's goal is to kill the Commander at the end, while the defenders must stop the attackers for doing it so successfully. The attackers have to complete a series of objectives in order to progress further and reach the Commander, like leading the ram to each of the gates in order to break them down and enter the fortress. On the other side, the defenders must prevent the attackers of completing those objectives, by using Greek Fire for instance, in order to damage the ram.

The first thing to do is to win a match in Breach mode, and the second one is to complete 15 matches of it (regardless if you win or lose). Both of them can be earned with any character of your choice, not necessarily from the Wu Lin faction. Although it's better to stick with a Wu Lin character to achieve the An Unstoppable Force Achievement by completing 10 matches with any hero of that faction.
Breach Apprentice
Breach Apprentice
Win your first Breach match

Breach is the new mode in For Honor. Although it seems to last longer than any other modes (30 minutes), the advantage is that it gives you also more experience points (XP) at the end of each match, not to mention more loot. Play one match with your hero of your choice and make sure that you are on the victorious side in order to unlock this Achievement. Sometimes when you search for the specific mode to play, you will find yourself in the middle of the action. That's not a problem, as long as you win the game.

Note: Breach mode is available from the beginning, therefore you can achieve this without buying the Marching Fire expansion.
Breach Master
Breach Master
Complete 15 Breach matches

Completing 15 Breach matches will take a while. Take notice that you can do that with any hero, not only from the Wu Lin faction, because the Achievement is connected to that DLC. There is no difference if you win or lose; you have to finish each game for it to count.

Note: Breach mode is available from the beginning, therefore you can achieve this without buying the Marching Fire expansion.
An Unstoppable Force
An Unstoppable Force
Complete 10 matches with any Wu Lin Hero

Wu Lin heroes consists of: the Tiandi, the Shaolin, the Jiang Jun, and the Nuxia. Each character has his/her own variety of moves and combos. You have to complete 10 matches (victory does not count) in any available multiplayer mode using one of the aforementioned characters. You can also unlock this Achievement by using custom matches as well (although you will no earn any XP that way).

Note: The Marching Fire expansion is not required, as you can buy each Wu Lin character for 15,000 steel.
═════⫸DLC STAGE 2⫷═════
Arcade mode is a new online experience which can be played solo or co-op (which is recommended) against computer controlled opponents (bots). There are 5 different tiers of difficulty to choose from: Common, Rare, Heroic, Epic, and Legendary, the latter being very challenging if you play it solo. Each tier mode has a recommended gear score amount and a specific amount of chapters to complete. For example, Common level can be played easily with any character which is not experienced so much. It is not recommended though, to try a level which has a gear score bigger than your character, unless you are a very skillful player!

According to the level you select, the game will allocate a certain number of positive and/or negative modifiers to all the players. You can check which ones on the loading screen. The aim of the game is to take advantage of your modifiers and enemies' modifiers whenever you can. Each quest is a small story separated in chapters where you have to finish each one in a row. Also each quest selects its maps, enemies and modifiers at random, although maps and modifiers can be selected according to the theme of the quest.

Each chapter in Arcade mode may have one of the following objectives to carry out:
-Elimination: It is the most common objective, which you have to kill all your enemies till you finish the last chapter and the quest.
-Eliminate Target: Although similar to the above, in this one you have to kill a specific enemy which can be surrounded by other bots. Those bots are not necessary to be killed in order to fulfill the requirements of this objective.
-Survive: Here you have to keep fighting the enemies until the time is over.
Quest for Glory
Quest for Glory
Complete your first Quest in Arcade

The easiest way to achieve that is to choose a Common tier Quest from the world map. This quest usually consists of 4 chapters, which you have to defeat one enemy in the first three, and two enemies separately in the last one. Kill the last enemy in order to unlock this Achievement. If you are a regular gamer, this should not be a problem as the enemies are weak.

UPDATE: You can still get this Achievement even if you don't have the DLC. If the host has the DLC and invites you in his/her group to play in co-op, you can still get the Achievement. Tested by me and it works.
Serial Quester

Complete Quests of 5 different rarity levels

You have to finish a Quest on each tier: Common, Rare, Heroic, Epic, and Legendary. The last two can be a real challenge, even to experienced players, because computer controlled allies are not so much of a help, therefore is recommended to do this in co-op. Playing in co-op, you will realise that the enemies can be more than trying it solo (2 or 3 enemies per chapter), but again it's far better than relying on bots to help you. In this mode you ought to take advantage of the modifiers to the full, if you want to progress further into the chapters. You have to familiarize yourself with each positive and negative modifier and how to exploit them to your advantage. A good point is when each chapter is finished you get a checkpoint, therefore you will not start from the beginning when you die.

UPDATE: You can still get this Achievement even if you don't have the DLC. If the host has the DLC and invites you in his/her group to play in co-op, you can still get the Achievement. Tested by me and it works.
═════⫸DLC STAGE 3⫷═════
This Achievement should be your last, as it needs a lot of grind to reach Reputation 7 with any Wu Lin character. Stick with one who suits you better, because you will need a lot of playing hours online.

This is the correct time to enable any XP+ boost tickets you might still have at the hero's selection screen before starting a battle. You have to active your boost. If you don't have any available tickets, you can still buy them by using your salvage. Enabling such a boost will earn you 250 XP (plus 50 XP for each of your teammates) at the end of the match.

It is recommended though to spend your hard earned steel to buy Champion Status. Options varies from 1 single day to 1 year. Buying one such status, will earn you +40% XP boost for yourself, apart from more loot and salvage from dismantling. Ultimately, watch out for those special XP weekends which take place randomly, as they are a very good opportunity as well.

Each hero starts from Level 1. When a hero reaches Level 21, it goes back to Level 1, but his/her Reputation is increased by 1 unit. Leveling up also earns you various Feats (all of them can be unlocked at Reputation 0 - Level 19) or Gear rarity (all of them can be unlocked at Reputation 7 - Level 1). It also unlocks various customization options, like colors, symbols and engravings, although those are for beauty and nothing more.
Loyalty and Righteousness
Loyalty and Righteousness
Reach Reputation 7 with one of the Wu Lin Heroes

This will take a vast amount of online playing. Stick with your favourite Wu Lin character, take advantage of XP+ boost tickets and Champion Status, to reduce the time to reach Reputation 7. Be aware that there is no need to focus only on kills, you can get experience points (XP) by doing each mode objectives simultaneously. For instance, in Dominion mode, you have to capture zones which grants you with a lot of XP rather than killing opponents.

Note: The Marching Fire expansion is not required, as you can buy each Wu Lin character for 15,000 steel.

@JuanSeLOL I believe as long you have the DLC in Ubisoft Connect and able to play the DLC, you should get the achievement on Steam. but update us if that is correct

I am sorry, i dont know @yao199, i personally do not own the DLC, but i suppose if you buy it on Ubisoft, you get it also on steam. or you can also use alternative sites to buy the DLC

Marching Fire dlc isn't being sold on Steam as of April 2024. Would you happen to know if it was added into the base game or one would simply need to purchase it on Ubisoft in order to be able to get all achievements?

Hello @Kakashki Thank you for your comment and letting me know that ubisoft transfered the achievements into the steam, i have updated the Guide as per your request.

in the original and now deleted "Q&A" section, there was an answer to your comment, and the answer was: this guide is made to see what achievements there are on ubisoft connect, because you are not able to view them, unless you own the game on ubisoft connect.
Kakashki 23 Oca @ 17:18
How is that any helpful if it's just copy paste what's already written in steam?
