preamble
listen, if youve played through the game and youve saved before, you definitely noticed that theres a little room you can go to after saving that uses visuals to show you where youve been, what youve done, so if its been a while since you last played and youre wondering what youve already done, you can load in and find out.

but what may not have tried before is to get every single visual collectible in one run.

ive tested this run out multiple times, and i can say that currently (early access) there is only one confirmed collectable that you cannot yet get. but other than that item, this guide will show you how to get all available items and make your room drippy to the max.
chapter 1
in chapter one alone there are many items you can collect. allow me to walk you through the process.

in the first screen theres already an option to drip yourself out. this doesnt actually correlate to the room, but picking up the gucci green hoodie for $200 is a must if you wanna style on those darksiders.

the first real collectible you can grab is a sock sitting on the left side of the living room. there are 2 you can grab in the kitchen: one being the dog food can and the other being the dog food bowl. feed baron however you like (dog food or trash) to get the bowl, but make sure to grab the dog food can either way. additionally, i dont know if you could call this drip, but you can change the light switch in the save room by interacting with the light switch in the upstairs hallway repeatedly. not much but it is something if thats something you would like to change.

after walking outside you can snag yourself 2 additional collectibles. the closest to the door being the sock to the upper left hand side of the house, the second being the axe near the trash can.

after walking back inside and sleeping, you wake up and your room is thrashed. walking outside reveals yet another collectible, the destroyed dog collar. pick it up to add another cool item to your room.

at certain points you can flick the light switch in the hallway//living room a bunch and change the light switch in your bedhead from a normal light switch to a burnt out one. i never mentioned this in the original writing of this guide, and as of writing im still foggy on the exact checks that you have to have to do this, but im pretty sure you can still have baron with you when you do it, it needs more time in the oven.

if you choose to save, your room should look something like this:


after pushing forward, you come across the barghest. to get the next item, just lose all your health. no matter what, binder will come and save you, so even if you die, youll get to the next area, and youll unlock a cool dog plushie that sits at the foot of your bed. cool!

when binder saves you he takes you to one long room, called the spine. in here, there are actually 4 new collectibles to pick up in here. interacting with a small chest on the table to our left, binder interrupts you and tells you that whatever is inside is private. a little heavy handedly, you take the apple hidden inside. this is the saddest item you may snag to fill up this room. the next possible item you can get is the small book, which you can get by interacting with all the book towers. the next 2 items are at the top of the room. there is a sock inbetween the book tower and bookshelf and a small dog figurine on the opposite side of binder, hidden in the bookshelf.

before continuing, you can save at the beginning of the room. going to the save room, which ill refer to as bedhead from here on out, can show you all the drip youve collected thus far. it should look something similar to this:


talking to binder takes you to the dark world. here you can get another 2 items. in the first screen, before you complete the puzzle, walk behind the movable block. dont push the block, as that can kill the run in an instant. walking along the path to the left you can find a black cat called gizmo. talking with them and choosing the first option puts a wind up gizmo inside bedhead. continuing into the next room you can get the next sock, just flipping the second yellow switch moves the beam out of the way and allows you to pick up the sock.

after all the puzzles, you pick up the artifact, thats a collectible, pick it up and bada bing bada boom.

after all the story events, yada yada, youre on to the last section of chapter 1. here there are 2 possible items. the first is a sock, traveling through the maze you should be able to find it. the second is only if you dont already have this item. if you didnt already grab the dog plushie, you can get it by dying to the barghest in this fight, although you should probably save before hand. and if you did already grab it, you can save anyway and look at all the chapter 1 drip
chapter 2 (the tower)
after falling down and entering break room 103, the first item of chapter 2 should be pretty obvious, there is a sock hanging in plain sight on the billboard. the next item is a jar of red pickles. to find this collectible simply interact with the desk drawer in the bottom left. after this, you can exit.

the next items available are on the towers first floor. in a random desk drawer will be tower corp propaganda. picking this up will put up a nice poster in bedhead, just above your bed.

doing the story quest where you pick up the ducks puts a pile of ducks in your room. additionally, you can get a goose! after grabbing the fifth duck, near the conference room, hugging the top you can travel an invisible path to pick up a goose. the next quest actually gives you the availability to get 2 items, although technically you could get one before. you go to a cubicle where you pick up a red sticky note for g8r. next to the computer, though, you can pick up another sock. you could grab the sock earlier, but this way is more efficient in my opinion. finishing the quest puts the sticky note in bedhead.

the next quest also has 2 available item. to get them both at the same time, though, may take some practice, or at least it did for me. there is a sandwich and drink, both of the items you give to the faceless in the lunch rush minigame. to get the sandwhich you must drop a bunch of sandwiches during the minigame. to get the drink, you must complete the lunch rush. you can see why this might take a couple tries. luckily, you can save in the conference room. and thankfully, you have me here, who has too much free time and has labbed out the best strategy. what ive found to be optimal is as soon as youre done talking to the coprino brothers, immediately run to the sandwhich station and mash the left click/z/a or whatever youre using to interact to drop a bunch of sandwiches. whenever the faceless spawn in you should have dropped all the sandwiches you need for this. however, if you havent then getting the remainder necessary wont be too hard and completing the lunch rush wont be too difficult. there will be a dialogue box that pop up but you should be mashing fast enough that you skip it. to complete lunch rush in the allotted time, ive found it best to stick toward the middle of the sandwiches and the drinks. alternating rhythmically between forward and backward and only slight presses in either direction if necessary to get the required lunch item. keeping optimal movement is necessary for this most important of tasks : having the drippiest bedroom known to mankind.

after lunch rush there are a few things you need to do before you can get the next sock. inbetween row b and c on the right is a janitorial supply closet. take a sip of the gross black water dripping from the sink. this will bring you to a black hallway. walking forward youre met with binder in the form he must take to be in the tower. just spam through the dialogue, the option you choose doesnt matter. after that, make your way to the next quest. after youre done talking with oscar, go through the door that inky went through, using the key you got from interacting with binder. after turning on the light you can walk around and find a sock sitting on the floor.

and thats it for the first floor, make your way to the second floor to get more, or save to see all the drip you got on the first floor. if you do save, your room should be something about like this:


the second floor has a few more items to grab to ice out your bedhead room. the first one you can get is the red hat. all you have to do is walk forward and interact with joe cool. the next 2 are just out in the open. theres a floppy disc in office 2c and a red stapler in desk 4d. going through the story as normal youll eventually make your way to the gym where you can pick up the last sock for chapter 2.

the next item youll be able to get for bedhead is the potion. after your run in with oscar after finding all the sentimental items, either being terminated or unplugging him, walking down and right until you cant anymore and then walking up brings you to a secret room.
after talking with nekane there, you can sneak a potion out from under her nose, although lore isnt that dexterous and will get caught.

after fighting the boss, if youve had a morally ambiguous or good run, dad will appear and give you the telephone. and thats the last item you can get in chapter 2. unfortunately the next time you can see the room is in chapter 3, but thats where were headed next, so let us commence forth.
chapter 3 (animus)
the first collectible you can actually get in animus is a secret item. after exiting cirsis house, head north across the bridge. a lilypad bridge will appear connecting your current landmass and the one to your immediate left. but, this only happens at 8:08 pm, or 20:08 for those who use a 24 hour clock format. you can wait or set your computers time, either way the bridge will appear. if you take the bridge and head into the middle of the rock circle youll be taken to the v a p o r c a v e, where miranda resides and you can pick up the a e s t h e t i c.

this is what your room should look like, although you cant really save to see it:

after grabbing the a e s t h e t i c, you can head south to meet up with ramul. after an... accident, you meet up with ramul again and hell give you a busted pocket watch. in this screen you can also check out all your drip from chapter 2 and the a e s t h e t i c. the pocket watch appears both in the upper left hand corner and on the table at the bottom of bedhead.

traveling to emelio you can get a few collectibles. you can upgrade the pocket watch and you can get emelios pickaxe. all you have to do is play along with emelio after you finish searching the cave.

if you head west like emelio says, you can save right before meeting fern and rhode. should you decide to, this should be bedhead:

before hanging out with fern or rhode, there is a section of the dark green forest that is a hidden path to the amphibious wizard. if youve ever watched thor stream the development of this game then youve definitely seen this guy floating around. following this secret path;
youll meet this amphibian who will ask if you want to see a magic trick. answering yes will send it off with another small earthbound reference and floating through the æther that is bedhead.

after fern and rhode, there are a few things you can pick up that you cant exactly see in your dripped out room, however you can still collect them. after chilling out with avocado for a little bit, you can explore her room. step one, factus acquiring.
avocado is willing to part with the factus for free, so you can just take it. here is the image of the factus as seen on the wiki, check it out.
doing a little more exploring, IF AND ONLY IF you have stolen the potion, you can water the pot of 2 cacti in avocados room. assuming you want your room to be dripped to the nines, you have already done this. after watering them, they sprout bowties (if you use the factus on them you would know why) and you can take the bowties from them.

if you save after avocado and go to your room, you can find the bowtie on your shelf, and the potion bottle you picked up will now be empty.

as well, you can find the fishing rod that you dunked in the stream earlier leaning against the Shelf of Drip, like this :

another fun fact about avocados room is that you may or may not be able to acquire the first possible sock of animus yet. in the snakes tank is a snakey sock, which must be replaced by something else that is warm. how to acquire is yet unknown to me.

going to the shelley and sheldon you can find a couple things, the first is a sock you can guaranteed pick up! going around to the laundry you can find it freshly cleaned

then you can pick up a treat to sit on the shelf next to your brand new bowtie! acquiring both will make these changes to your room :




and thats it for chapter 3 as of right now!
conclusion
in conclusion, this list is still in progress. this game is still in early access, so items are not final nor is this a complete list, but this is how YOU, yes you, can get a maximum drip room in the heartbound video game
