Introduction to Tuning
By Astral_God
If you're new to Cosmic Break, tuning can be a mystery that has a ton of different opinions and sources on how it should be done. This video guide will walk you through everything you need to know to start your tuning journey.

The Video
I originally made this for the video contest, but honestly I don't think it qualifies for the rewards they have posted. Still, I thought it would be a waste to just throw it in the junk bin, so I decided to upload it and post it here for anyone that's confused about the tuning process or just have general questions on how it works.
This video will also lightly touch on other aspects of the game, such as breakpoints and different game modes you can play.

Good luck and let me know if you have any remaining questions. I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.

Stat Breakpoints for Tuning Convenience
~ for your tuning convenience I will only be listing the highest known breakpoints, as any stats lower than these listed will not be good enough for you to have a competitive advantage over other people. ~

STR & TEC - Weapon Force dependent; 10 STR / 10 TEC deals the same damage as the listed force. Each point above/below that changes the base damage modifier by approx. ~1.5% per stat, for a rounded total of +45% base damage at 40 STR / TEC.

WLK:
For LNDs w/o Boost Run:
32 & 36.
For Non-LNDs w/o Boost Run:
31 & 35.

For LNDs WITH Boost Run:
See Chart: https://i.imgur.com/ne0ZH.png
For Non-LNDs WITH Boost Run:
Above chart, but 1 category lower (So 38 WLK 10 FLY would be ORANGE instead of RED for a SUP unit with Boost Run).

FLY:
31, 34, & 38. FLY is universally shared among every unit in the game.

TGH:
Anything above 7. 13 & 18 are nice for reducing chances of being stunned and minimizing buildup of consecutive damage.

So it seems like this guide is outdated. at 40TGH I'm still taking consecutive 80 damage attacks from groups. It's like TGH got completely reworked or nerfed or something because it's almost impossible to survive most encounters without a built in escape option, then you have to hope that you're not using your escape skill against an enemy with built in teleports.

Also, 40WLK isn't the same as 40WLK on a different robot. Momoji Flash at 30WLK is faster than Ouka at 40WLK for example.

The only way to be competitively tuned now is to just buy robots that come with competitive stats off the rip.

Nice

Also the updated chart uses a gradient instead of having distinct colored sections. Where are the breakpoints for that?

I don't quite get the breakpoints part. Why would someone have 40WLk 8FLY as opposed to something like 37WLK 11FLY, or vice versa?
