Celebrate Crimes

Description
This mod allows you to pick and choose what "crimes" you want to celebrate.

This mod adds to the 6 existing crime doctrines adding 1 more level to each of them (with kinslaying getting two new levels).

Level of the Crime Doctrines (except kinslaying):
- Criminal
- Shunned
- Allowed
- Celebrated or Virtuous (virtuous costs more piety)

Allowed is a rename of the old accepted level. Along with the change in name, the description for some has been changed to make it clear this is the neutral option. Allowed functionally works the same as the original Accepted level.

Celebrated is the new level that this mod adds. It enables you to have a religion have doesn't just allow certain behaviours that other religions might shun, but to celebrate them and reap the benefits. The benefit you get depends on the crime doctrine.

For the kin slayer doctrines, it adds two new levels (Murder is Allowed and Murder is Celebrated).

New Doctrine Effects:
-Same-Sex Relations Celebrated: same-sex marriages
-Same-sex Relations Virtuous: same-sex marriages and piety from same-sex consorts
-Deviancy Virtuous: Lose stress for successful romance and seduction schemes. -10% Fertility and +10% stress loss for all adherents.
-Male Adultery Celebrated: Men gain prestige for successful romance and seduction schemes. They are suffer reduced penalty from spouses and are more likely to engage in seduction.
-Female Adultery Celebrated: Women gain prestige for successful romance and seduction schemes. They are suffer reduced penalty from spouses and are more likely to engage in seduction.
-Killing Criminal: Forbids all killing, be it murder, prisoner executions, or hunting animals. Adherents less likely to start/join murder schemes. Cannot hunt and Hunter is a sin.
-Murder Allowed: Murder is accepted.
-Murder Celebrated: Gain prestige for successful murder schemes. Adherents more likely to start/join murder schemes. Can host murder feasts and bloody weddings
-Witchcraft Virtuous: Makes the witch trait a virtue. Extra piety from holding grand rites

-Sibling Marriages is a new level for the consanguinity doctrine

-Funerary Cannibalism is a new Funeral Doctrine that makes Cannibalism not a crime and gives access to the Cannibalism Funeral Activity

New Events/Decisions:
Faiths that accept homosexuality and have concubines can now take same-sex concubines (note there is a game rule to set same-sex concubines to be only if same-sex marriages is enabled). By default this affects Adamite, Hellenistic, Kushite, Orisan, Roogan, and Taosit rulers (with the AI still generally preferring opposite sex concubines).

New Events/Decisions:
-Adds a Decision for deviant character to lose stress (but might cause an event where another walks in on them)
-Adds Decision to visit sacred temple prostitutes with Carnal Exaltation Tenet (with possible follow up events)
-Adds 6 events where your same-sex concubines help you lose stress (makes traits of your same-sex concubines matter)
-Add Decision for Ritual Cannibalism that lets you eat your dead ancestors (gives a more reliable way to be a cannibal is such faiths)

New Game Rules:
Each doctrine has an optional game rule to start with all faiths accepting or celebrating each of the crime doctrines. Alternatively, there is a game rule to make it so only the player's starting faith celebrates that crime doctrine.

There are some changes to the doctrines some faiths start with to better represent them in game. Thus now Asatru's homosexuality and witchcraft doctrines are set to shunned; Rooge Sene is set to accept homosexuality; the Bon religion, Nangchos, and Vajrayana are set to shun homosexuality Jainism forbids all killing; Messalianism is set to celebrate both male and female adultery; Catharism are set to celebrate homosexuality; Kordofan starts with sibling marriages; and finally, the Taoist faith and Han culture are both set to enable concubines. If you'd rather these faiths have the vanilla doctrines instead, there is a game rule for that.

Other Additions:
It is now easier to create a witch coven if you have a large family. The decision to form a witch coven will max out at requiring 9 adult witches if your faith celebrates witchcraft.

Lovers in faith that approve of their extra-marital romances will be open about their lovers (meaning less events about so-and-so being secret lovers). Additionally, lieges that don't have a problem with a seduction of their courtier/guest will now only get an event if the romance being exposed is deemed interesting, otherwise a notification a banner notification will be given instead.

Same sex couples now enter into either primolineal or ultimolineal marriage where age determines who is the dominant partner in the marriage. This mod adds tooltips to the marriage screen, but for full UI implementation you'll need my other mod, Adoption Options.

New Laughing Sickness Disease. This represents Creutzfeldt-Jakob and Kuru disease. The former has a very small chance of happening, the later is a cannibalism spread version of the disease.

Other Notes:
-Fixed a bug in the base game that incorrectly prices the piety cost of changing some kin slaying doctrine.

Future Plans:
-Add more same-sex concubine stress loss events (have plans for 10 events)
-Add same-sex mentorship mechanic as an aged up pederasty (i.e. only between adults) that's more focused on the mentor aspect than the sexual aspect (plan for it to tie into the stress loss same-sex concubine event)
-Add a way for deviants to choose the type of deviant they are

Known Problems:
-Crime doctrines order can become jumbled on faith creation (only visually).

@ISRAFIL I can't make make my mod compatible with that mod on my end as my mod need to overwrite the cadet branch decision so it works properly with same-sex marriage system added by this mod. If the other mod didn't overwrite that decision, but instead made a new decision for creating a new dynasty then the mods would be compatible (though that does require them to play around with localisation files to properly name the new decision).

Of course, I know that it’s not significant, but in some moments it can speed up the game a little because this is the only mod that allows you to create a completely new dynasty.

@ISRAFIL That is bound to happen as this mod does change some files that do not work well for mod compatibility (I really wish Paradox would divide up tenets like they do doctrines).

Though I finally got around to looking at the one you linked and it looks like the problem is on the other mods end. They are overwriting all the doctrines, including the crime doctrines this mod needs, despite the fact it looks like they are not making any changes to them. If they removed the code for doctrines they don't functionally change from their md_doctrines.txt file their mod would have improved compatibility with other mods.

@RainbowCrow23 The mod does not change how "crime" traits are handed out (outside of gay marriage, as the base game weirdly doesn't do anything for it if others think it's a crime). So same as vanilla CK3, crime traits/secrets are only given to characters who have committed a crime according to their faith or their liege's faith. With the only exceptions being the deviant and witch traits, both of which the traits have a game function beyond other's opinions.
