the TOWN DRUNK
If you pick this without the following stats, even if everyone else does great, your group won't get the best ending.

Note: If you don't choose the looter and you become a vampire/werewolf/spiral-demon-thing (IE go through those events on week 6) you auto-ruin the survival efforts. The guy I was grooming to be leader just belched fire on everybody.

@Goldenkitten it actually makes sense for charm to be more necessary than mind. if you're going to it's more important to have people do what you tell them to do (even if a different course of action would be better) rather than have the best ideas of how to do things and have people not really paying attention to you.

@Coleman thank you very much for the guide. a friend of mine owns this game and now i know what stats we need to have in order to succeed.

As others have said there really should be some hint in the game that suggests what's in this guide. It doesn't need to outright tell you what's needed like the guide, but something giving a vague idea should have been in there.

For instance one would think you need a high mind to be the leader since that would require a lot of brain power to adequately delegate roles to others and the knowledge of what needs to be done to rebuild. I figured charm had a little bit to do with it, but I would never have guessed that not only was it reversed but that charm needed to be so much higher than mind. That really doesn't make a ton of sense if you think about it and it's just one example of this game being a little too vague to really enjoy it.

Well, gripes about the design decisions aside, thanks for the guide!

My excited want for such enlightenment lead me here, but to my misfortune the destination is nothing comparable to the journey..

In all honesty, something hinting towards the stats mentioned in this guide should be in the game

Useful. I lost 1 mind for my memory shrinking a bit. But I gained 2 Finesse in playing the game!
