How to fix PunkBuster won't work issues

I've played some BFBC2 now and singleplayer worked fine, so I tried multiplayer (I didn't have punkbuster) so I noticed you had to have it. So I went to punkbuster.com and installed it; and it added the game BFBC2 but when I opened BFBC2 still the same thing displayed and I couldn't connect! So I did some research and I found out what to do: Install punkbuster (normal install) then when its finished just add BFBC2 and close it. Then what you got to do is go to C: Programfiles (x86) Steam, SteamApps, common, Battlefield Bad Company 2, install, Punkbuster then in punkbuster there should be a program named "pbsvc_bc2". Double click this and install press next and when its finished the window will disappear. Now just open BFBC2 and punkbuster servers will work!
IF YOU SUCCESSFULLY LOG IN A SERVER AND AFTER 3-5 MINUTES YOU GET KICKED READ THIS:

Find Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in your steam library,
Right click Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and select the option "Properties" When the properties window has opened click "Set launch options..."
A new window should pop up in which you must type: -pinginterval 50000 Press "ok" and launch Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and now it should work.

Seeing if PunkBuster works and is "there"

Going through some stuff (files) I noticed that IF punkbuster works for you theres a "PnkBstrA" and "PnkBstrB" program in C: Windows - SysWOW64 . If not it doesn't work. (I would recommend re-install/restart system)

If pnkbstrb isn't initializing this will not help you. Evenbalance makes shoddy, obfuscated software (in a futile attempt to keep people from beating it) It can conflict with many unknown processes. It can work in one instance and not another. It's nonsense governed by the logistics of how many purchasers they will lose, versus expense of the service, etc etc.

Hi, one solution for the error message kick by punkbunster who is ok for me.
you verify that service (run services.msc) name pnkbstrA and pnkbstrB are started. if yes you run for example procexp.exe (sysinternal) (this avoid problem of right access even if connect has admin on windows xp home edition) and you need to change the priority of each process name pnkbstrA.exe and pnkbstrB.exe.In my case i indicate "realtime". Punkbuster process have the hightest priority on the system. Its advice to do this operation each time before to play. Hope its can help

Go and google search the PunkBuster updater program provided on their site and install all that good stuff then restart your computer
