The FA-MAS, or inaccurately FAMAS (French: Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne, translated as "Saint-Étienne Armory Rifle") is a bullpup-style assault rifle designed and manufactured in France by the LAG in Saint-Étienne, which is currently a member of the French state-owned company Nexter. He is a service rifle of the French army Armées françaises.
