BioShock: Save Files for Collectable & Missable Achievements + Worlds of Hurt Challenge!

Missed an audio diary or it's bugged out for you? Need the highest difficulty w/o reviving chambers? Killed the artist only to realise you need to access his room later? Help yourselves to the save files!

A Fair Warning

As of 10.01.21 it seems that collectable achievements DO NOT unlock for some users. :(
Whether it depends on unique steam account or other factors - I dont know.

... Console Command (For Audios and Weapons)

User Pandémïe wrote the following:

I was able to get the Historian achievement using a console command.

First activate the console in the lunch option of the game by adding "-allowconsole" (without the "")
Once the save is loaded, get the last audio.
Activate the console with the TAB key and type "exec deck2logs.debug", you should get the achievement at this moment

I also was able to get the Weapon Specialist achievement using a console command.
Load the save, get the last upgade and in the console type "exec FullEverything.debug"

Seems to be working for other gamers too, so.. try it. :)

3) Disable vita-chambers before loading up difficulty saves.

Saves' names and what's inside

You'll get these ones:


1) 12_26_2020_21_37_50 - Historian (Fort Frolic map)
Pick up the last audio log and trigger the achievement.


2) 12_27_2020_10_58_6 - Tonic Collector (Neptune's Bounty)
Purchase any tonic from the vending machine.

3) 12_27_2020_11_26_57 - Weapon Specialist (Neptune's Bounty)
You have the last weapon to upgrade:


4) 12_27_2020_15_10_44 - Found Cohen’s Room and Irony (Olympus Heights)
Go upstairs to his room, then kill the artist and take a photo of him.


5) 12_27_2020_15_54_42 - Dealt With Every Little Sister (Point Prometheus)
Kill the Big Daddy and save the last little sister. Just fry him with electro-gel. :)

Difficulty related

Load up 12_27_2020_16_19_43 and beat the final boss.

Then, you will unlock:



Seriously Good At This (The player has beaten the game on the hardest difficulty setting)

A Man Chooses (The player has beaten the game on the survivor difficulty setting)

Brass Balls (Complete the game on Hard difficulty without using a Vita-Chamber)

I Chose the Impossible (Complete the game on Survivor difficulty without using a Vita-Chamber)

Little Sister Savior (Complete the game without harvesting any Little Sisters)

Worlds of Hurt Challenge

The third and final challenge was amazing! Highly recommend completing it yourself.
However, if - IF - you struggle, then use the save files.

Load up 12_29_2020_14_48_10 for: Expert

The door is already opening and time is running out. Spam that "L" button right away! :D

Load up 12_29_2020_11_59_13 or 12_29_2020_11_58_22 for: Tough Guy and Collector

Maybe, just maybe...

You might get Research PhD: Max out all possible research,
if you take a photo of any enemy.
I completely forgot to back up files before taking the final research photo. =/

Die Save Games funktionieren nicht!
Historian - funktioniert nicht, auch nicht mit dem Konsolen-Tipp, da die Konsole mit Tab nicht aufgeht.
Brass Balls - funktioniert nicht
I Chose the Impossible- funktioniert nicht
Ich brauche insgesamt noch 4 Errungenschaften, dies sind 3 davon und nichts funktioniert.

Tyvm for the Historian. Just replayed the game and was trying to backtrack for the logs and lo and behold I missed like 10 logs, 1 being ofc from the first section.
Can confirm snert method works.

So how do I load a save I downloaded? I already did the console -allowconsole and download_depot but don't know what to do next.

I can confirm @Pych statement, it worked for me too
In addition
-allowconsole launch options does not open console on TAB for latest remaster version
so I rollback Bioshock for that

After collecting all audio logs I started simple new game on easy and activated
exec deck2logs.debug
in the middle of the first mission
achievement unlocked

For Audiolog achivement, try to start a new game, NO GAME +.
I read "we must strat à ng+ for get the achivement"
For me i try all thing, nothing work.

I just start à new game normal, and that unlock the achivement.

Working on Remastered: Find "Tilde=" in the User.ini file and add commands like exec deck2logs.debug or exec FullEverything.debug there. I was absolutely not replaying the whole thing to get one buggy audio log (:

(it might also be worth setting the file to read only after editing it)

historian bugged for me needed to rollback the version and run debug code. even in the old version the saves did not work.

Well I thought Historian is the only bugged achievement, instead Research PhD is hell of frustrating one. I'm stuck with all achievements except this one, tried every method including downgrading the game version and use console command to add research points but sadly it didn't work.

Thanks to Balazs and Hermi_xy finally the Historian achievement bug is cleared using that method!
