Venice unleashed project (How to install mods)

This guide will help you install Venice Unleashed, A project that aims to add mod support and custom server to the game.

Quick explanation about what is "Venice Unleashed".

Venice Unleashed is a 3rd party addon for Battlefield 3 that adds mod support, Removes blue filter, Adds higher tick rate servers and adds replayability to the game, I'll link a video that shows and explains what is Venice Unleashed and what it adds to our beloved game.

Installation.

Before installing you *must* have a legal copy of Battlefield 3.
Venice Unleashed is not going through the Battlefield Battlelog site, It's pretty much unranked.
(Yes that means no stuck on "Joining server" Or "Waiting for game to exit" etc etc all the problems battlelog gives.)

Alright so you enter the site.

You sign up, You download the client and you have fun.

The mod can now be started. How can I start the VU mod through BF3 in Steam so that it can display BF3 running when playing the VU mod

legit the only good ping servers are locked and the rest of the servers are 100+ and hardly any us servers sadly :<

Venice unleashed I a Replacement backend, that ALLOWS Mods, all of thos things you mentuion are the mods... The server can be set up in any way you can think, VU team provided a full list of console commands for the frostbite engine as well as the tools need to make a mod, Like the Darkness unleashed mod, or the upcoming Project Reality BF3 mod. They also provide the softawe to run your own server, and you can do it however you wish. too bad everyone with a server right now only does Bots or zonbies..... Such a waste of effort. Where are all the modders at? All I got to look forward to is PRBF3. Any way just wanted to clear that stuff up, oh yeah the best place to get them is on the VU forms, they generally link to github...

Shame VU isn't really played, it's implementations are far better than EA's leaving BF3 to languish with a shitty web-browser plugin.
