Drill Containment Unit (DCU)

This is a short Guide on how to obtain the Drill Containment Unit, or DCU, in Terraria and what exactly this thing is. This is for anyone who is new to Terraria, but also for some people who didn't know there was such a thing. I myself didn't find it for a long time.

What is the DCU?

The Drill Containment Unit (or DCU) is a mount which can be obtained after defeating the Moon Lord. It can be used to mine insanely fast and fly around infinitely. Also it is the strongest drill and therefore can mine any material.

How to craft the DCU

Here is a short list of the Buildings / Ingredients you will need to craft the DCU:

Buildings:

• Ancient Manipulator
  
• Adamantite Forge / Titanium Forge
  
• Autohammer
  
• Hellforge
  
• Furnace
  
• Mythril Anvil / Orichalcum Anvil

Ingredients:

• 160 Luminite Ore
  
• 600 Chlorophyte Ore
  
• 600 Glowing Mushrooms
  
• 20 Ectoplasm
  
• 120 Hellstone
  
• 40 Obsidian
  
• 120 Meteorite

Crafting everything together

1. Craft 40 Luminite Bars by using the Luminite Ore on the Ancient Manipulator.
   
   
2. Craft 120 Chlorophyte Bars by using the Chlorophyte Ore on the Adamantite Forge / Titanium Forge.
   
   
3. Craft 40 Shroomite Bars by combining 40 Chlorophyte Bars and 600 Glowing Mushrooms on the Autohammer. (You get this station by making an Overworld Mushroom Biome. Then you can buy it from the Truffle NPC, which will occur after building a valid house in this Biome)
   
   
4. Craft 40 Spectre Bars by combining 40 Chlorophyte Bars and 20 Ectoplasm on the Adamantite Forge / Titanium Forge.
   
   
5. Craft 40 Hellstone Bars by combining 120 Hellstone and 40 Obsidian on the Hellforge.
   
   
6. Craft 40 Meteorite Bars by using 120 Meteorite on the Furnace.

Final Step and Links

The final step is to combine every single Bar on a Mythril Anvil / Orichalcum Anvil and... congratulations! You just crafted the best drill / mount in Terraria!

For anyone not knowing this, its also a Hammer mount if you hold right click either alone or with leftclick aswell it will remove walls :)
