There are 6 Types of Bombs in the Game.

Combos!

Combos are made by picking up 2 matching ores without picking up any other ore in between.

In the early game you can make much money by making rare earth magnets as it is MUCH more valuable than platinum.
And as you can see Amazonite has many valuable combinations, so make sure you use them as much as possible in the later game.

You can also get "Chains" by collecting 3 and more ores of the same type in a row.
the highes chain rank is Motherload with 40 ore and more. Each rank will give you a higher direct money bonus. The money gainied does also depend on the Ore.

Quest and special treasures

In the early game you will find black items with a "Q" box around them which can't be mined.
When progressing through the game you will at some point need to collect some for a quest, afterwards you can collect them for money.
They are marked Yellow on the minimap if you upgraded it.
Beside those quest items there are also alien-bones which will directly give you money. They are also marked yellow.

Boss Fight

Preperation

• It is a good idea to dig out 6 rows below each outpost.
  
• A vertikal, direct shaft from outpost to outpost is also helpfull.
  
• A lot of Bombs ( > 100 without nukes, > 50 with nukes, but then you need all types available and a good eye for the bomb puzzles)
  
• Rotor Speed minimum 4
  
• Hull Strength minimum 3

More is always better!

The Fight

The boss fight will be in 2 different phases, each 3 times.
When you enter the boss-room at the very bottom of the planet, the boss in the middle will activate, after hovering left and right for a moment he will start drilling up really fast.
Phase 1
Now you have to follow him with enought distance to not get cought in his rocket blast, but also close enought so you don't get melted in the magma coming from below. If you have a shaft you can also use that to get up easy. Not really usable in the first Phase 1 however...
Phase 2
The Boss reached outpost Delta. At the moment the entire outpost is open and will repair and refule you, don't think that it will stay like that in futur updates, but for now it is very usefull.
The Boss will always go from left to right straight and than in an arc back from right to left.
You will now always lay bombs close in front of him when he is walking from left to right and then dive down at the right end to evade him. Atom bombs will deal massiv damage, no need to aim them.
Each time you kill him in and outpost he will go to the right side and fly up towards the next outpost.

When you reach the surface you win.

• Abbadon: Choose Abbadon and then destroy Earth
  
• Ana Banketic: Choose Tiberius and then destroy Mars
  
• Laike (1954-1957): Choose Abbadon and then destroy Mars

• Demitri Uberkov: Select no planet and let the countdown run out
  
• Prototype-M: Wait on the titel screen for a while

Purchaseable Special Powers:

Alchemy	$100.000	Converts less valuable minerals into platinum.	This does also count for Combos (You can make a Explodium + Goldium combo, but not a Goldium + Explodium) and Chains.
Rubber Hull	$250.000	Bouncy! Does not reduce collision damage.	Makes it harder to drill. Available at the secret shop at the sky limit.
Fuel Converter	$500.000	Concerts any ironium collected into fuel.	Not very usfull in late-game as there is not much ironium, but awesome for a new game+
Hull Converter	$500.000	Converts any bronzium collected into hull repair.	Cool, but same problem as the fuel converter in late game...
Radiator	$500.000	Reduces magma damage by 50%	That's cool in lategame, as you have ton's of lava!
Magma Money	$500.000	Converts magma into $$$. Magma still causes damage.	That's a bit like a compensation for the repair cost's you'll have :)
Force Field	$2.000.000	Prevents all collision damage.	Fly against walls as much as you want!
Hull Regen	$2.000.000	Tiny nanobots repair hull damag over time.	-
Rock Drill	$2.000.000	Drills through rock.	Will save a lot of Bombs!
Smart Bombs	$4,000,000	Bombs don't destroy valuables.	Comes in handy when solving puzzes.
Double Cargo	$5.000.000	Doubles the number of minerals that can be carried at once.	Like another big cargo upgrade.
Air Bombs	$6.000.000	Detonate bombs in mid-air	Will make all Puzzles super easy.
Metal Drill	$25,000,000	Drills through metal plates.	Save even more, much more valuable, bombs as with the rock drill!
Oil Extractor	Do not let Mister Fix It upgrade your fuel tank	Extracts oil from dirt, converting it to $$$.

Super Motherload	Get a Chain of 50 Minerals	Best to be Unlocked if you have the alchemy upgrade active and hull converter off. Then go to the first sector and dig out anything that is not iron. Digging iron will convert platin to a rare erth magnet and break your chain.
Bloodied Hands	Destroy a planet.	Finish the game and destroy a planet.
Destroyer of Worlds	Destroy mars and earth.	Let the timer run out.
Cheat Death	Finish the game in hardcore mode.	When using a full upgraded character the only possible problem is getting stuck in the boss fight.
Efficiency Expert	Finish the game in less than an hour.	Best to be done in multiplayer, as you can dig much faster. Using a character who finished the game on another map is also very helpfull ;)
Aetherston	Craft a Aetherstone using the Smelter.	Using Amazonite and Electronium craft a Lightningstone. Then collect a Unobtanium to get a Aetherstone.

Apparently, Magma Money is calculated by depth of magma (or molten metal).

It is DEFINITELY good, though, $7000+ for lava piece just above Beta (with full hull repair at ~$3000). Money, here I come.

Monoblos, would you happen to know how what is magma worth with the Magma money upgrade? Not sure if it would be worth it, but sometimes I just have to drill through magma to continue a chain.

I'm around -10 000 and money is a bit of an issue, no unobtanium since I finished the quest, electronium non-existent, metal everywhere. And since I don't know if I can keep the money/cargo after the bossfight and buy upgrades afterwards, I'm trying to get the money from chains...
