GunZ 2 "K-Style"/Advanced Melee Techniques Guide!

This is a guide to the ,still very broken, K-Style techniques in Gunz 2. This is still being developed and K-Style was never meant to be in Gunz 2 so beware.

Prior Knowledge

This guide is meant to describe the current forms of "K-Style" in GunZ 2: The Second Duel

Vocabulary:

K-Style: Korean Style, a style of play based off of animation canceling glitches from the original GunZ: The Duel game. E.x. Butterfly, Double Butterfly, or Half-Step

Cancel: A cancellation or inhibition of an animation such as slashing a sword or switching weapons

Dash: A quick move in any direction (done by double tapping a directional key)

!*PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST OF THESE TECHNIQUES ARE DONE USING IVAN, IT IS UNPROVEN WHETHER OR NOT THEY WORK EFFECTIVELY WITH OTHER CLASSES.*!

Advanced Techniques!

These are some of the current K-Style moves in GunZ 2 or "Advanced Melee Techniques"

Current Advanced Moves:

• Dash Cancel: Dash > Jump (Slash can be added at end)(Do not jump first)
  
• Basic Animation Cancel: Block during slashing animation
  
• Light Step: Jump > Directional button + Slash
  
• Light Step Dash: Dash Cancel > Light Step (Do not press jump)
  
• Double Dash: Dash Cancel > Dash
  
• Quick Slash: Double Dash > Slash
  
• Reverse Butterfly/Broken Butterfly: Dash Cancel > Block > Slash
  
• Quick R(Ivan Only): Switch to sword > Block > R

A lot of this shit is NOT up to date and not even remotely close to what it's describing. There is 0 halfstep in this vid or quick slash. There is NO SS in this game but would be easily incorperated if Wayne rifle was on ivan.

The animation cancelling is nothing close to what it actually looks like. Most of these players are slow with their movement yeah no idk. I would not use this guide as a reference for the game.

True K-Style needs the SS. Slash shot with shotgun or any other gun. GunZ The Duel was like the best ever. You guys ruined it with GunZ 2. GunZ The Duel was truly a masterpiece. This is no where close to the OG K-Style. There isnt even D-Style for the dagger users. ~ex member of Rin'negan.

stupid ivan guide players wudnt so bored of GunZ 2 if everyone didnt played only troll ivan also give up on bringing the BUG style into gunz 2 it wont work and there is reason why it dosnt exist in the game.

GunZ The Last Duel is a shit server. The "dev" monk doesnt know how to code. He and his butt buddy MAIETGames claim its a ijji experience, but thats just because they cant code and rely on the base games files alone. Monk used to have a server called Monk GunZ. Which was full of viruses. So he has a bad track record. MAIETGames has spammed every website possible with his shit. reddit, steam, voting websites, and even a website for hackers to download GunZ aimbots

Aeria bought out ijji, MAIET is for korea, so please understand that gunz 2 is filth, GUNZ IS THE PAST. any private servers for GunZ The Duel are either heavily modded, spyware, or just empty. dont ever play The Last Duel. It has trojans that steal passwords. Made by that guy monk and his butt buddy MAIETGames (Rain in the comments) if you want a good private server. play eagle gunz, freestyle gunz, or hell. even UGG if youre dying to play a 15 year old game.
