Metal Sonic, the robotic doppelganger!
Even if the facts can't be denied, he still see's himself as the real Sonic!
He has come to crush the competition of Rivals!


Metal Sonic wields a devastating arsenal of attacks:

Jab: Plasma Pulse Attack
This is a simple 3-hit attack, where Metal swings twice at his opponent, ending with a plasma blast from his core.

The last hit of the move has a stun effect, unlike the first 2 attacks.

Dash Attack:
When using this attack, Metal boosts forward, swinging his claws near the opponent.
If you use this attack close to an opponent, Metal will grab onto them and throw them on the ground.

This is a very useful combo tool when wanting to follow up with aerials.

Down Air:
At a glance, it seems like a simple weak spike, but if you hold the attack button, you'll curl into a ball and spindash as soon as you hit the ground, accelerating forwards at high speeds. The move can be jump canceled on hit whether on the ground or in the air, and can be airdodge canceled regardless. It pressing parry on the ground will cancel the dash, and pressing shield or jump without resources in the air will pop him up in pratfall.

UStrong: Ring Spark Field
Up Strong is a lightning strike that comes downwards towards Metal, charging a big lightning explosion.
The Best usage of this move is getting opponents that loom over you out of the sky, when the lightning comes down, it will shock whoever comes in contact with it.

Be careful when using this move, though, as it will leave Metal open for attacks.

FStrong:
He stabs straight forward with his metallic hand, dealing a strong amount of damage and knockback!

DStrong: Metal Sonic Flare
Metal Sonic Flare is Metal Sonic's take on the Sonic Flare.
Sonic Flare has Sonic hit from very close, but Metal activates the thruster on his back to get more distance when attacking opponents.


NSpecial:
Metal shoots fire from his chest, a simple projectile that sets opponents on fire. The attack can be canceled when landing after firing the projectile for even more pressure!

USpecial:
A simple thrust upwards going head first!
Although it may look safe, his metal head hits pretty hard!

FSpecial: V. Maximum Overdrive Attack
Overdrive has Metal flying towards the opponent at rapid speed.
The longer you charge this move, the further you'll go, and the more damage and knockback you'll deal.

DSpecial: Black Shield
The Black Shield is a very useful defensive matrix, it will carry Metal's momentum, however, you can not move.
The shield has the ability to deflect most attacks and event reflect projectiles back at the opponent. Holding special slightly extends the shield's duration.

The best way to use this tool is to make an opening against a mashing opponent, or send back projectiles to force an approach.
