Splinter Cell Double Agent .ini Tweak/Max Graphics

This is a quick and easy guide to get the best graphical quality possible out of Double Agent!

Simple Tweak

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Splinter Cell - Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System (alternatively, you can Right Click "Double Agent" in your Steam Library, click Poperties, Local Files tab, then click Browse Local Files)

Scroll down until you find the SplinterCell4 Configuration Settings file.
Right Click and open with notepad.
From here find these lines (Using Ctrl+F) and change the values described below!

SimpleShader=False
SimpleEffect=False
HidePieces=False
bEnableHDR=True
bTrilinearFiltering=False
bSpecularLighting=True
bVerticalSync=True
TextureDetail=High
UseHWShadowMapping=True
ShadowResolutionDegree=0
ShadowTurnOffDegree=0
bUseSmoothShadow=True
FSAADegree=0
AnisotropyDegree=16

Also, Double Agent's maximum supported resolution is 1280x720.
To change this to whatever resolution you want, find these lines.

FullscreenViewportX=
FullscreenViewportY=

For instance X=1920 and Y=1080

That's it! Now enjoy Double Agent the way it was intended to be seen for PC!

This needs to be 100 for shadows to actually render at a distance and not just 1 meter/3 feet in front of you

dosent work wont format to 1080p ive changed all ini files to 1920x1080 and no res change

Thank you so much for the edits. This is one of my favorite games I owned for the Xbox 360 but it was crashing like craaazy on my PC. Now I'm happy to report the crashes are gone! so far... Dumb question but does anyone know anything about using a gamepad with this game? Again stupid question but I'm finding the default (And some unchangeable) keyboard / mouse bindings to be hard to play with.
