Hey, some of you might recognize my name so let's just get this out of the way: Yes I am that RG from Age of Wulin.

The info and links in this guide will help you play the game with 0 knowledge of Traditional Chinese as an English speaker.

As a fan of the Wushu/Wuxia genre ,w.e u wanna call it, and due to the fact that I dont have the same amount of spare time as I used to, this single player version got me pumped. And yes I know its ALL in traditional chinese but where theres a will there is a way n thats what im about.

Im putting together a voiced commentary walkthrough that will help you understand how to do Quests, how to get reputation with your Sect/School, how to join a sect/school, how to keep joining sects (Yes i managed to join them all in 1 playthrough), how to create good internal combos, what the inner buffs do, how to create a strong character with the new character creation menu, what some of the convos mean (not all since that will take a long time to get translated properly), etc. this list can go on for a while if i keep going.

My goal with this is to help the community enjoy this game n create dope toons that will let you take on the end game fights with those crazy NPCs.

Feel free to give me tips or debate certain topics (e.g. best way to join the Dragon sect/QianJianZong as quickly as possible) since im still learning as well so it would be fun if we can run things by each other n see how we can help the English speaking community enjoy this fantastic game.

I also made a discord for this so feel free to ask questions there, will usually ask u for screens of where ur stuck or whatever. Im also posting translations for the game on it regularly which include sect buffs, inner combos, how to craft your own inner, etc. all that good stuff.

All possible Allegiances (the yellow writing from top to bottom). This event triggers after the main Jianghu Forces unite to attack the Dragon Sect and defeat QingLong (requires the completion of certain quest chains before it triggers).

1. Pledge allegiance to the Daoist Temple (Good route?) Talk to brother Gu Shaowu to sign up.

2. Pledge allegiance to Nanjing Imperial Court (Good route?) Talk to Zhu Yunwen to sign up.

3. Pledge Allegiance to Yanjing/Beijing Imperial Court (Good route?) Talk to Zhu Di to sign up.

4. Pledge Allegiance to the Chengdu Court/Shu Wang line? (Good or Neutral route not sure). Talk to Zhu Qing's emissary Jun Huai Ye to sign up.

5. Pledge allegiance to Zhu Quan/NingWang line (Evil Route) by going to Daning/DaYu City and speaking to Zhu Quan himself. NOT recommended for beginners!

6. Pledge allegiance to Zhou Wang?/Dragon Sect Path (Evil Route, but i think its justice xD). Go to QianJianZong (Dragon Sect) and speak to this crazy old man (Orbit?) whose name i can't translate to English. You must pick the 2nd option while facing QingLong when the Jianghu Sects unite against him since it is the option to show mercy as suggested later in the allegiance quest itself. By doing so I was able to join Dragon Sect (also formed a brotherly bond with him before the event itself just to be safe) and pledge allegiance to his cause. The timeline order of doing this goes as follows: Show mercy during the fight - Pledge allegiance by talking to Orbit - Face the Rootless forces in the Nanjing event - QingLong returns and you can now join Dragons.

7. Hidden Route. Pick No Allegiance and show them all who really is the King of the Jianghu. (Hardest Route, untested in this patch)

Each allegiance choice will grant you an outfit and/or some other form of reward upon entering and/or completing the quest given by the choice you made. Except if you choose to go Rambo Mode. Then you dont get nothing.

Note* The option to pledge allegiance looks like this. (this one is for the Dragon sect but the first 2-3 symbols are what you are looking for when speaking to the respective NPC)
