This guide is geared towards players who are familiar with most mysteries' story beats and endings plus a few unlockable characters, and will therefore contain unmarked spoilers for them.

  • Defeating the YOUNG WITCH enemy.
Is used for:
  • Unlocking the STEEL BOX achievement.


BOX CUTTER(BROKEN)

Acquired by:
  • Defeating the YOUNG WITCH enemy before unlocking the KICK-BOX CUTTER achievement.
  • Breaking the BOX CUTTER by resolving two different combat encounters with it equipped.


CHAINSAW

Acquired by:
  • Picking the second choice (requires light source) in the PERILOUS PARABLES OF THE PECULIAR PAINTING exclusive 'THE DARK WORKSHED' event, and using the FUEL item.
Is used for:
  • Unlocking the HAIL TO THE KING achievement.


HUNTING RIFLE

Acquired by:
  • Spending 11 FUNDS in the ILLEGAL DEN.
  • Defeating the HUNTED BY THE CULT exclusive 'CULTIST HUNTER B' enemy.

You can also sell 15 EXP for 1 FND at Police Station. If Doggo is out, Vending Machines (or Illegal Den) have normal Cigs for sell, with the former guaranteed becasue its stock is fixed. Shovel can be bought at Hardware Store for 3 Funds, and defeating enemies with Shovel has small chance to give you 1 FND.
