Enjoy Free Flowing Football with PES 2021 Masterleague

Hello Guys.. this is my first guide to PES 2021. I want to share with you my GamePlan for playing Masterleague in PES 2021. I enjoy free flowing football with fast pace passing using counter attacking style of play. So here is my favourite GamePlan settings.

Game Plan

Formation = 4-3-1-2
Attacking Instructions

• Attacking Styles = Counter Attack
  
• Build Up = Short Pass
  
• Attacking Zone = Center
  
• Positioning = Maintain Formation
  
• Support Range = 3

Defensive Instructions

• Defensive Styles = Frontline Pressure
  
• Containment Area = Center
  
• Pressure = Aggresive
  
• Defensive Line = 5
  
• Compactness = 8

Advanced Instructions

• Offense 1 = Defensive
  
• Offense 2 = None
  
• Defemse 1 = Counter Target
  
• Defense 2 = None

Playing Tips

Before playing, always make sure to select the fastest player with very good speed, dribbling and shooting ability as a Counter Target. He will be waiting for you at the opponent half and be ready to run behind defenders and expecting you to give him a through pass.

When playing using this game plan settings, your attacking players will always try to run behind the opponent defenders and you're expected to feed the ball faster to your attacking teammates. Since we are playing with compact formation, low support range, and short pass, your team mates tend to be near you when you have the ball, so it will be easy for you to pass the ball forward.

Your fullbacks will not try to move forward most of the time because we are concentrating to attack through the middle. So there are less crossing opportunities here.

Offense 1 defensive player should be your DMF with a very good defensive and passing stats. He will not move forward to attack because he will be helping your defenders to kill the opponent counter attack.

Offense 2 is optional. I only use this when I want to create variation in my attacking styles to counter stronger team. I usually select another defensive player to help my defense when trying to defend my winning result. I choose the my CMF player with good defensive stat for this.

Defense 1 is Counter Target because we want one of our attacking player with good pace, dribbling, and shooting stats to stay at the opponent half all the time so that when counter attacking it easier for us to find him.

Defense 2 is optional. I only use this when I want to tightly mark a striker who has a good pace and shooting stats.

So, there you go guys, this is my game plan in Master League and I really enjoy playing using this settings. I hope you too benefits from this game plan. Let me know what you guys think after trying this settings.

Counter Target is really good for Master League, especially if you have a good target man up top. Just keep there stamina up. I was using Gegenpress, but since entering Europe it was killing the squad. But I go 4-1-2-3, use false wingers so the 2 forward wide guys tuck in and left and right backs overlap and create overloads down the flanks, plus Centre Target so bodies converge on the box. If defense clears line, having a DMF act as Orchestra, helps recycle ball back and you can play round the box until and opening is created

A fucking 4312 central counter attack for master league? And you call this free flow? It's what braindead online players use to abuse the mechanics. This is not a fun or a skilled formation. Downvote.

hillrobert849 I'm using Top Player difficulty. Even TP difficulty is sometimes hard to win against lesser team. But a tip for you, make sure you select all your first team player with good form (blue arrow) only because it adds extra 5-10% overall rating to a the player rating. Never select low form player for crucial matches because this player play below his rating.

what difficulty do you have it on playing master league as i tried top player then i put it on superstar and to be honest on superstar all teams are like barca and you hardly get a sniff at goal cause they have like 8 players behind the ball so when you do get any chances you have to take them, plus what passing level to you have it on cause many times i feel like the AI doesn't pass the ball to the play i want it to go to and it can be very annoying
