"Armello Board Game

I just finished an IRL version of Armello!
It took me a LONG time to complete but after seeing the end result I think it was worth the effort! Now to get rid of these Covid-19 lockdowns so I can invite some friends over to play!

The board itself and all of the parts are made from maple, bronze and soapstone. The wooden parts I created myself. I found the bronze and soapstone figurines in various gem shops. The cards were printed on linen paper and sealed with a matte finish. I'm very pleased with how the cards turned out, as it was the beautiful artwork on the cards that first inspired me to bring this game to life!

Thank you League of Geeks for creating such an amazing game and giving me something to work on :)"

WHOA! I will buy as long as the quality is this good. If it gets rolled out and everything is made plastic and cardboard not a chance in hell. This is beautiful, the way it should be majestic, high quality production. I wouldn't bat an eye at $150 take my money.

Well, does it work as well in a live table than on comp? What are your experiences with it?

Wow! You put a lot of hard work in it. I would love to master the Armello boardgame for my friends someday - playing the mad king, patrolling my guards and summoning banes to bring my players to forge alliances - until the end... There can be only one monarch on the throne ;). And will he/she bring the rot with him/her - or be an pure hearted child of the wild?

Would be a lot of fun 😊... But also to play as a Charakter of course.

Come over and play... yeah! Would be nice. I'm from Germany... How far do I have to travel? 😅

Thank you Nartenos! :) I make the hexagon pieces with maple base boards of the appropriate width. That way I could minimize the amount of cuts. I then stained and sealed each hex with a solid colour, cut out the appropriate symbol from a pad of rubber to create a stencil, used the stencils to sandblast the symbol on the face of each hex (exposing the natural wood underneath), and then re-sealed the hex to lock the design in place :) Come over some time so we can play!

Hey :). Great work! Especially the wooden tracking-boards for the character progression. How have you made the wooden Hexagon-Landscape-Symbols? Are they handcrafted? The Playing cards are a real treassure :steamhappy:

The board is playable :) But it requires a division of labour so it's best to play with people who are really familiar with the game. Stealth was the one thing I couldn't replicate either. If you're the only player that is cloaked you could remove your Hero from the board and keep track of your position in your head... but that requires a great deal of trust from your opponents. And if two players are cloaked there's the challenge of figuring out when two cloaked players collide. Alternatively, you can just apply the bonuses of stealth (Ambush and Immune to Targeted Spells) even though everyone can see your Hero :)
