Easy guide in finding Morel spawns
By Asus18CLH
Some people found it difficult to find Morels In the game. That’s why, I decided to find as many Morel spawns as possible to help players find these mushrooms.

Introduction
Warning - Please read the introduction carefully before proceeding further into the guide.

Probably I haven’t found all of the spots but I will update this guide with extra spots when I find any. I played on an easy mode but playing on a normal mode shouldn’t make any difference. In this guide you will find seven different maps that you can find in the game with flag spots. These flags represent the spawns of Morels. Some of the spots are quite big. That’s why, in some screenshots you might find many flags in a single spot.

I found it easier playing at night. Of course you will need a Head Lamp to see at night. When you equip the item, it will be easier to spot Morels as they will shine when you approach them.

Unfortunately if you play at night, your eyes might get tired very quickly because it requires you to strain your eyesight. Make sure to take extra breaks for your safety.

You will have to watch for wild animals like wolfs, foxes or bears. When you see them, they might run away from you, if you are unlucky, they will attack you. If you have energy to survive an attack, you’ll be fine, otherwise you will respawn the next day.

Northeast Region -> Northern Lake

Southeast Region -> Cabin in the Woods

Southeast Region -> Georgia Woods

Southweast Region -> Texas Ranch

Mid-West Region -> Indiana Country

Rocky Mountain Region -> Rocky Mountains

Pacific Region -> Redwoods
Redwoods Morel spawns

Notice - Morel locations may vary from above.
Conclusion
I hope this little guide will help you get points, finish weekly tasks and even get some Steam achievements. Personally when I go Morel hunting, I go to Rocky Mountains. Indiana Country also looks promising, especially when the map is small. It is totaly up to you where you want to find your Morels. More spots means more mushrooms.

Notice 1 - Some mushrooms might spawn in the water, inside the tree or texture. Also, sometimes outside the boundary fence.

Notice 2 - In some locations where I placed flags, Morels might appear from time to time.

Notice 3 - In Redwoods, Morels don't spawn in the same locations as in a previous day. This might be a bug so please be aware of that.
Guide updates
06 November 2020 - Added extra spots on Texas Ranch and Indiana Country. A notice has been added under the Redwood map.

08 November 2020 - More spots added to Northen Lake and Texas Ranch.

15 November 2020 - Some spelling mistakes in the above locations have been corrected. Thank you for pointing it out.

Mine shift a bit, too.

Thank you for this guide.

More precise: In Texas found morels at the spots I had found them in the first save game, plus a handful of spots where I believe they had not been before. But these spots match your map very well (with some missing on your map).
In Indiana, however, I just checked two places (north of start house and right of pond), and there were no morels there in this save-game (at least not the first day on this map), although so far there had always been quite an abundance of morels near the pond. Two other spots in the area were there. The rest of the map showed the same picture: 50% of the known spots were there, 50% moved or not there.

Now this is strange indeed. I started another savegame yesterday and found several spots to be just slightly shifted (2-5m), found morels at spots where they had never been before and found them missing on some well-known spots on the "Cabin in the Woods" map, so there definitely is a difference to the previous save game - for me.
But let's see if your maps prove to be helpful for others.

First of all, thanks for letting me know that I had some spelling mistakes in this guide (it has been fixed). Answering your points.

1. I looked closely what you wrote in here and took my time to check if you are right. After I finished playing the first season I took some break so I haven't played this game for a while. I loaded my save game where I am on season 2 and decided to check my spots in five different locations. It looks like morel spawns are exactly in the same spots. But, that's not all. I created a new save file and I followed my flags. It was exactly the same. I have no idea why for you, the spots does not match.

2. Probably a bug, this is my thought as well. It looks like Morels in Redwoods are probably programmed like any other type of mushroom which is, to spawn in random places.

Hi Asus18CLH,
it is nice of you to take the time to put together this guide. However I wonder how much sense it makes to publish a map with the morel spawns, for two reasons:
1. The morel spawn locations vary from season to season, so every player will have different spots each season. For example, if I look at your maps I notice that for me the morel spots were definitely on different locations. Some of the spots are always roughly in the same area, but still shift by several meters from game to game. So for me, your maps would have been hardly useful.
2. As we discovered, the morel spots on the Redwoods map even vary from day to day (likely a bug).

P.S. You might want to correct the spelling of some reagions, too. If playing with another language, switch to English language to get the correct names for this guide.
