Ghostrunner Achievement Guide

Guide for all Ghostrunner achievements. I mostly went off memory to write this so if you have any suggestions or I made any mistakes, feel free to let me know in the comments.

Ability Achievements

Homerunner

Kill an enemy with a projectile reflected by Tempest
Once you unlock tempest, wait for your focus to fill and use tempest after an enemy shoots to reflect the bullet back. Easy to achieve on pistol enemies.

Control Freak

Force enemies to kill 4 of their allies using Overlord
Use the Overlord special ability on enemies. Once you get 4 kills from this ability, the achievement will unlock.

Why Not Both

Use 2 different special abilities within 10 seconds
Easiest way I found to do this is equip the tempest module that refunds focus if you kill 2 enemies with 1 use. Kill 2 enemies with tempest then switch to blink and kill a 3rd.

Dead In The Air

Kill 3 sluggers using Blink, while they are in the air
Explains itself, charge blink then wait for a slugger to jump then activate it while he is still in the air.

Unstoppable Force

Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Tempest
On the level "Reign in hell", there will be a hallway where 4 crawlers attack you. Use tempest on them and you'll get the achievement.

Wave Of Mutilation

Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Surge
On the level "Things you wouldn't believe" there will be a platform with 5 wardens on it. Run to the right to line them up and activate surge.

Triple A

Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Blink
On the level "Things you wouldn't believe" there will be a platform with 5 wardens on it. Run to the right to line them up and activate blink.

Can't Run Can't Hide

Kill 5 enemies with your special abilities, while they are protected by a Beacon Shield
Use blink to kill enemies while they are still protected by their Beacon sphere.

Combat Achievements

Sword Runner

Kill 5 enemies within 10 seconds using just your sword
On the level "The Climb" there will be 3 hooks about halfway through you have to grapple through to get to the next area. There will be 3 pistol enemies in the first room and 3 in the second room. Kill the 3 in the first room, the one by the door in the 2nd room, skip the one in the corner and go straight for the one at the end of the 2nd room on your right.

Wallrunner

Kill 74 enemies right after jumping off a wall
Another achievement you should get by just playing the game. Try to aim for enemies near walls and jump/attack.

Sword To A Gunfight

Kill 30 enemies with projectiles reflected using your sword (Reflect module required)
Equip the reflect module and reflect bullets back at enemies by timing an attack correctly. Progress saves if you die.

I Call It Luck

Block 5 projectiles in a row using your sword
Attack right as a bullet is about to hit you to deflect it. Any level is fine for this, but is done easily by leaving a single pistol enemy remain.

Where Are My Keys

Kill 1000 enemies
If you're going for 100%, you'll unlock this. Grind a level for kills if you need to.

Upgrades Not Mandatory

Kill 10 enemies in a row without using Sensory Boost
Easy to do on early levels. Just move left and right to dodge their bullets manually.

Preemptive Strike

Kill a Splitter before it manages to split itself
Easiest way I found is use overlord on an enemy near a splitter, and let him kill the splitter.

Improvise Adapt Overrun

Kill a sniper without getting near him
You just have to be outside melee range for this to count. You can use surge or overlord for the easiest achievement.

More Than Human

Kill 23 enemies in a row without dying

I would HIGHLY recommend using tempest with auto-refresh on Things you wouldn't believe. Farm focus from the explodey boys, then use tempest to kill them all. Clear the second room of enemies, kill both drones, and kill the 5 samurai with tempest.

Hit Me If You Can

Block Warden's attack 5 times in a row
On the level "Echoes" the first enemy you encounter will be a single warden. Block his attacks but do not counter attack.
Alternatively, on the level "Things you wouldn't believe" there will be a platform with 5 wardens on it. Kill 4 of them and continue to block the 5th's attack without counter attacking.

Strike

Kill 3 enemies at once with a falling drone
On the level "Things you wouldn't believe" there will be a room with 4 platforms in the corners and 1 in the center, as well as 4 drones. If you time it right, a teleporter will be on the far left platform with 2 pistol enemies. Jump on the far left drone and jump off to kill all 3.

Misc Achievements

Longrunner

Run 42 kilometers
You'll get this just by playing the game.

Perfection

Unlock your full potential!
Unlock all spaces for your modules

Running Wild

Use dash, wallrun, slide and gap jammer within 1 second
You can get this as soon as you unlock gap jammer (grapple). Might take a few tries for the game to actually register the achievement.

R Is For Running

Complete a level without dying
Play the first level until you complete it with 0 deaths.

Alternatively complete the Hel bossfight (In Her Own Image) without dying since there is only 1 enemy.

Push It To The Limit

Fill up GR-SCP so that there are no empty slots left

Sticks And Stones

Fill up your Rage Bar just by deflecting projectiles (Deflect: Absorb upgrade required)

Complete "Another Awakening" without dying

Do you need dlc to get "Complete your sword collection" achievement ?

[Healbot]

In the same place in inward and upwards with the ten or so exploding guys, you can do easily a lot of abilities related to multikilling. I did surge, blink, and others at this place

For "Upgrades Not Mandatory" achievement there is a really easy way I just found.
During inward and upward there will be a time you are running away from a few exploding bugs right ahead there will be a shuriken mode boost you run for it, take it, turn to the enemies and spawn left click and congratulations! You got the "Upgrades Not Mandatory" achievement.

[The Snacrifice]

For 'More than human', on the level with all the exploding enemies, you can run along the outer edge of the wire-cage walls leap to get the shuriken, hit the two exploding enemies on the wall near the exit. WHen you pass through the airlock, it will auto-kill all the enemies behind you, and the achievement pops instantly. Really easy.

Dharma City has one slugger among two simple gunners right at the start. Did it there.

For Dead In The Air: In which level can I find sluggers?! I always used Tempest for my whole playthrough so I didn't got any of the other ability achievements.

I got it. You must not deflect the projectiles as written here, but block them as written in the achievement text. Therefore you must unequip the L-shaped Deflect: Reflect ability for this achievement to be unlocked. This could be corrected in this guide.

I'm having a problem with I Call It Luck - blocking 5 projectiles. The achievement doesn't unlock although I deflected 5 projectiles of one guy in a row without others shooting and then I killed the rest of them, but it didn't unlock. When would the achievement normally unlock? How is it done correctly?

Fun fact about Why Not Both: You can die in between uses. So just find a checkpoint with full focus and an enemy and something to instantly die from, kill the enemy with surge, die, switch to blink, and kill the enemy again with blink
