Battle of the Camel [Rioters & Police] + Additional Information
By UX1∴N73C
In this guide, you will learn how to effortlessly win the "Battle of the Camels" level in "Arab Spring". It is also worth noting that the following was performed in "lawless" difficulty to demonstrate flexibility.

[Police]
Less points used = Less Rioters = Less issues

[Planning]:
Make sure all units have the following equipment:
0x Masks
Cameras/None
Light Armor
Wooden clubs(not the crude alternatives)

[On Site]:
Hastefully, enter all units into an "arrow" formation and equally split them up to deal with the 2(+) riot groups. Proceed to move the groups back until they're out of the objective, worry not about the ones who slip through, it's the larger masses that are required to be rushed out to win. Rioters will never transition into "aggressive" mode, so there's little reason for you to transition into said mode in return. If done correctly, the only thing left is to run out the timer and reap the reward: "Camel Warriors".

[Rioters]
Photography, valor, and resoluteness.

[Planning]:
Cameras (4x)
0x flags
Defenseless (no armor)

[On Site]:
Rush to the inner front of objective, hold your position, have your cameras ready. Due to your overwhelming mass, from taking the peaceful approach, police will have no choice to cause a bloodbath; there will be many rioter casualties, so ready your cameras and snap as many instances of police brutality, mainly those killed, and you'll simply win via politics and or a successful occupation. If a group's morale is low, chanting will widely regenerate it. This alone will turn your rioters into unwavering barriers and provide your cameras and the police something to keep both of them busy.

[Final Notes]
"In a Gentle Way, You can Shake the World."
Rioters depend either their numbers or the aggressive police coverage. In this class, cameras, masses, and help from social media will win you almost if not all maps/levels; peace over war; mind over matter.

Police, like rioters, almost always depend on making their opposition look bad, so always equip your units with cameras so that the politics will always be in your favor. Recitation: less points used = less Rioters = less issues; smaller groups are easier to control and push back, never forget this. Never commit any acts of violence unless it's payback. When a rioters kills a police unit, take photos of the corpse and the violent rioters. Finally, remember that the camera works both ways. If it catches you committing acts of violence, then expect negative political points.

@Chillin01315

You have the tools and units to win that level, but understand that it is the most difficult scenario due to the lack of additional units. Create separate police groups; an inner group that pushes protesters outside the circle, and an outside group that makes sure protesters stay as far away so as to not regroup with their whole. Remember to use your utilities as much as you can in this scenario because it is unbelievably easy for protesters to regroup simply by walking/running around your units. :bfhgasmask:

I just cant do this im losing my mind trying to beat this the problem is I cant get everyone out because they just walk around my camels and i cant manage every thing. i will also add the police ai is dogshit because I try to get my camels to one part of the map and they dont go

Very good guide.

I just want to add that I used smoke on the crowd sparingly to help get all the rioting groups on the far edge of the zone. This allowed me to use 5/6 camels to keep them out while my 6th unit played Renegade Round-up.

That's my only addition

@GaudinGameYT PGN,

I advise you to experiment with formations and police resources for now. I'm currently overseeing other plans of mine through, so you might have to wait until then for Further guidance.

Thank you !

And can I have your discord so we can talk more about this please ?

I want to screen share you what I am doing in the camel mission so you can explain what to do in this mission specifically.

Thank you

My discord is : GaudinGameYT#0788

@GaudinGameYT PGN,

Unit allocation. You could have one squad ensuring no protesters get through you (with the aid of a wall formation), while the other squad concentrate on rounding them up together and or disrupting the opposition very own formations (using the arrow formation which divides and disorganizes them).

Note: I'm considering creating a more detailed guide explaining game mechanisms and other details within the 'RIOT - Civil Unrest' in the near future.

But how do I horde them together ?

And thanks

@GaudinGameYT PGN,

Nonetheless, you can set all assault units into a 'wall formation' and proceed push groups of protesters back. Make sure smoke grenades are precisely thrown in front of a crowd to effectively push them back. Should they be scattered, horde them together, then push them back as a group.

Be sure to overwhelm them with smoke grenades, because it demoralizes/scares them and results in a more controllable crowd.

Thank you for your quick answer.

But when I try to push them away with the charging ability and with smoke grenades, they are everywhere so its really hard to contain all the crowd.

Because all the units are assault units, I cant push them away like with tactical units.

How can i push the crowd in a effecient way ?

@GaudinGameYT PGN,

Repelling rioters with smoke grenades/ammunition is an effective method of pushing back rioters without performing actual violence. Once sent back, your officers should be able to contain the entirety of the crowd. Keep in mind that the police faction, like the rioters, can win if their opposition retreats or are sent off screen.

Also, do not resort to violence, or over use certain repellant items, and you shouldn't lose any political points. Protesters participating in a 'sit-in' can be dispersed easily with smoke.
